We had a wonderful time! David is a very attentive, cordial, and helpful host who is a great guide to the neighborhood. The apartment was well-stocked with everything we needed for an extended working holiday, and it's an easy walk from there to Trastevere station, as well as multiple cafes, restaurants, and grocery stores. We enjoyed every minute. Thanks again, David!

A nice place for a temporary base in Rome!
We have stayed here for a week-long vacation. The apartment provides everything needed for a self-sufficient stay. The host is really friendly and always available via messenger in case of questions. The location is further away from the typical touristic cites, but it is very well connected via trams, so that getting around is not a problem - unless, of course, the tram drivers go on strike again ;). Overall a very positive experience 👍

Comfortable appartment near Trastevere
This appartment is really comfortable. Perfect for 2 people. The bed is really big and the dining area is spacious, with large sofas and multimedia equipment. The owner offers his own collection of music and DVDs. The property is very well located. It is within 5 minutes walk to the Trastevere train station, connected to San Pietro and Roma Termini. The 8 Tram is even closer. This line ends in Piazza Venezia, near the Colloseum and the Forum. The owner is always very helpful. He welcomes you at the arrival and explains all the details of the property and useful information about the city and the country. He even gave us a little surprise, which was very kind of him.

Cozy & Well Stocked
Our host, David, was very available/communicative/so helpful with area info and how to get places. Met us at property to go over everything & hand keys. Checks in on you multiple times during your stay. Left a welcome gift with wine/treats❤️Location is residential apts, about 8 minutes walk to Trastevere Station. The Bus/tram/grocery/a couple restaurants within 5-10 mins walk. Looks like photos, bath is small and has a large step up into the shower. Be mindful of that if mobility impaired. A glass block wall connects the shower to the kitchen. Kitchen is tiny but equipped w/essentials & spices! Major bonus! Wifi can be spotty. Great A/C. Washer & drying rack. Noise from surrounding apts (kids, dogs, doors & some construction). Best suited for a couple. We stayed 2 weeks and really liked being away from the touristy areas and still have easy access to the major sights.

everything you need for apleasant stay
really enjoyed my stay in David's apt. It was very comfortable and has everything you will need right down to David's detailed instructions on how to get to the main sights. Clean and very comfortable; no problems with WiFi and even a couple of shows on the TV in English. A short two block walk over the main tracks will take you right to where the tram stops. From there it was easy getting around. It has a patio where I took in the pleasant Oct. mornings. From the apt. take a walk down the hill and then to the left walk to the end of the block and enjoy an Expresso / pastery at the bar and then if you like go next door to the small super market. In the back is the deli where you can find fresh pesto, bread, risotto, everyone there was great and helpful even with my limited Italian. This is a nice apt. to spend some time in a must see part of Rome.

great vacation in beautiful apartment in Rome
My wife and I from Florence, we stayed 6 days at David's apartment, kind person, considerate, professional and honest, always available to satisfy every small request, on arrival he did find even some sweets and a bottle of wine (not all do). David also provides maps and routes to visit the most beautiful places of Roma. The apartment is located at a strategic point, very close to the tram stop 8 What often passes) leading in a short time Trastevere and at Piazza Venezia from where you can visit walk all the beauties of the center of Rome, in fact not far from Castel S. Angelo, can be reached easily on foot the splendid Piazza di Spagna, the Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona, the Colosseum and more. The car is not absolutely necessary. From Piazza Venezia they take the means to other beautiful places first among all the Vatican. The apartment is spacious with high ceilings, large windows, decorated in a modern style, blackout curtains and furniture, excellent and free Wi-fi, great TV, stereo DVD with lots of movies, we never saw because we went around every day and even at night. Speaking near the apartment there are shops, supermarkets, bakeries bars, shear pizzerias, restaurants (we recommend: C'era una volta in Piazzale Dunant family to enjoy Roman dishes and great pizza, not to mention the sweet superlatives). In conclusion we had a great time and definitely recommend David's apartment we thank them all, we will certainly be back soon.

Lovely stay
This is a lovely apartment and we enjoyed our stay a lot. David is a helpful guy but a word of caution if you wonder why all 5 star reviews, it's because anybody who doesn't give this he denies ever having stayed there. Hidden this comment within this post, and Rome is a beautiful city

Great Apartment, Fantastic Host!!!
If I could give David 10 stars, I would. He was a fantastic host. My wife and I were traveling to Rome and were looking for a place to stay that was away from all the touristy sites but was still within 15 minutes of the city center. David's apartment fit our needs perfectly. The apartment was very clean and comfortable, the neighborhood was very safe. His apartment is located about 3-4 minutes from train #8, which we caught to head to all the touristy sites (Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Piazza Navona, etc), local restaurants, and shops. One thing I must say...David is takes great care of his guests. Prior to our arrival, David sent us an easy-to-read guide on how to get around Rome, and he sent a map with helpful information about the neighborhood around the apartment. When we arrived to the apartment, he walked us through every room in the apartment and took the time to answer any questions we had, as well as give us some safety tips regarding traveling in Rome. I was so impressed with how welcoming he was. If you're looking for a nice, CLEAN, and comfortable place to stay, this is the place for you!

Great Place
Davids apartment was wonderful, he was a very accommodating host and arranged to meet us very last minute as we had some problems with the other apartment we were staying in. The apartment could not have been cleaner and has everything you would need whilst visiting Rome, the bathroom is beautiful & David's sound system and collection of DVDs was an excellent touch. He could not have been more helpful and showed us everything in the apartment and how to work all the appliances etc, great David thank you!

Perfect location
This is the perfect location for a real Roman experience in a local neighborhood, away from frantic tourists! David is an excellent and kind host, who will take care of you and will provide you with precious information. I stayed in the apartment for 10 days, and it was very clean and equipped with everything I could possibly need. The place is conveniently placed near grocery/fruit shops and the tram to go to Trastevere is less than a 5 minute walk; and it takes about 10 minutes to get to there. I most definitely recommend this place, and would most definitely like to stay there again!

The finest travel experience in my 84 years!
Have traveled for over 70 years and staying in David's apartment was the pinnacle of travel experiences for me! Not only was the apartment exactly as portrayed, it was perfectly located for privacy and a short walk from tram transport to the historic center of Rome! All amenities were available in the apartment, and David & his staff maintained them perfectly. David stepped in with advice and counsel whenever I needed assistance in scheduling reservations for Rome's most visited attractions or when to best attend. The neighborhood provided essential services such as supermarket, coffee shop, restaurants etc. within a very short walk from the apartment. All in all, I would without hesitation recommend his apartment for anyone looking for a value priced footprint, well maintained and professionally managed within a local enviorment location close to transportation and service facilities. Bravo David for your outstanding management of this property and friendly manner to your guests! Alan Hilkene

Great location for a Roman getaway
The apartment was exactly as described, and David was extremely helpful in getting us there, showing us everything in the house, and helping us get around. When, one time, we had a problem with the plumbing, he was very responsive in taking care of it. We took advantage of doing our light grocery shopping in the neighborhood stores and especially enjoyed our breakfasts out on the flower-perfumed terrace. We followed David's advice and bought a 5-day transit pass which proved to be our ticket for exploring Rome. The apartment works best for those who are comfortable using public transportation to get around, as we were just outside the central touristy areas of the city, but still close enough to get to everything. By the end of our stay, we had used the trams, buses, Metro, and local trains - and of course, our feet - to get a feel for this wonderful city. And there aren't many better Roman experiences than having an outdoor dinner near the Campo dei Fiori, walking through the bustling crowds as you cross over the bridge into Trastevere, then working through the lively streets of the neighborhood before hopping on the Number 8 tram to get home to your lovely, tranquil apartment. Thanks for helping us experience Rome, David.

ottimo appartamento Roma Trastevere

Great Stay, Great Host
Despite me being late to my appointment (got lost on public transit), David was extremely patient and very informative upon my arrival. He walked me through the entire apartment and explained how to use all the appliances and electronics. Neighborhood was mellow and there was an amazing little pizza place right around the corner. It was a good distance outside of the central tourist area, but with the tram (5 minute walk) it was extremely simple to get into the heart of the city and everything was in walking distance once you got off. David also provided train/bus routes to all the major attractions and was there to answer any questions that I had about the city. Great apartment and a great host! Would definitely recommend to friends and stay there again.

Memorable!
David was an incredibly welcoming and caring host and we had a very nice and comfortable stay at the apartment. Due to circumstances we had to find a place literally the night before, and we were very lucky to have found David's place and grateful that he was able to accommodate us at such short notice! From the start he provided us with a thorough explanation of everything we needed to know and how to navigate around the area. The apt is exactly as pictured - nicely decorated & furnished and very clean. It's in a safe, quiet neighborhood, a few min walk to the tram which is very convenient. There are guidebooks and maps in the apt which come in very handy for touring the city. It was our first trip to Rome and David's wonderful hospitality definitely made it a fondly memorable one!

Good time at David's
We had a really good time at David's apartment! It was clean and comfy and we found everything we need! Good equipped kitchen and quiet area! Rome center isn't far away and it was nice to escape the noice of the city in the evening! David was very nice and helpful and explained everything we wanted to know! He explained the way to and from the airport and made us feel good! Even he made a plan how to reach every sight in Rome by train or bus, perfect!!! All in all we had a very good time and totally fell in love with this beautiful city!

A LITTLE SANCTUARY
I stayed here with my 24 year old daughter for a week. We arrived sick and tired and David could not have been more helpful. We actually stayed at several VRBO's during our 2 month trip and David was the only owner to greet us personally and show concern for our discomfort. He even offered to go to the pharmacy, but that was not needed in the end. He is very accessible and speaks fluent English. The apartment itself is VERY comfortable and homey. English TV channels, great WIFI, highly usable kitchen and comfortable bed in a good size room. It is quiet, with a charming patio behind a locked gate. Grocery right around the corner (several, in fact) and the tram is also close. The tram does take you to the train station (1 stop) but, we preferred to walk as it is not far. A bottle of wine greeted us and that was a lovely touch. Rome is quite hectic and a nice, calm place to return to at the end of a long day was always welcome. We preferred being just a little out of the main tourist area and in addition you feel VERY safe here. Plus, David could not be more helpful if you need him.

Home Away from Home!
My husband and I visited Italy in June 2015, and really enjoyed David's apartment in Rome. It was well stocked with anything and everything you could need for your vacation. He even had the kitchen stocked with the basics (spices, sugar, salt, pasta). The apartment was very homey. David had movies, a great stereo system with CD's, washing machine, etc. (which was very nice after an exhausting day exploring the city). It also had a lovely little outdoor space with outdoor seating and BEAUTIFUL plants. He made every effort for his apartment to feel like home for his guests. The apartment is in a residential area--where Romans really live! Not a touristy area. If you are a fan of "living like a local" while you travel, this is the place for you. It was just a short walk from grocery stores and local restaurants. It was nice not being surrounded by hundreds of other tourists and being able to experience the "real" Rome! Trastevere is a great neighborhood to stay in--it's a very short train ride from all of the major attractions, but is quieter and more relaxed than the city center, with much better prices at restaurants. Also, David speaks great English and was very quick to reply to any questions I had. Overall, I would recommend this to everyone. It's a great place for the price.
