Breathtaking views await you at this gorgeous cottage on the lake, located on the Lake Chezzetcook! Located on the 2nd Floor, our property leads you to a spacious open kitchen, dining room & living area. It is beautifully decorated with beautiful large windows with stunning views of the lake. The master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom which can be closed to give access to other guests. The living room gives access to a balcony overlooking the Lake Chezzetcook. The cottage which awaits its distinguished guests offers also pedal boat, kayak, fishing activities, bonfire, BBQ area to enjoy the getaway they deserve.

Please note that effective 2024, an additional Levy fee of 3% need to be charged for all bookings in addition to your booking fee. You will receive the additional fee to be paid after your booking. Thank you for your kind understanding.

A lovely home

Even though our stay was short it was very pleasant. Unfortunately, we were not able to enjoy the outdoor amenities since it was raining the entire time but we did have a nice movie night. The hosts were great and even offered us to stay longer on Sunday, unfortunately the next leg of our trip was calling.

Beautiful, relaxing lakeside retreat

This property was everything we thought and more! Driving in, it is a stunning home with even more beautiful outside space. We came for an anniversary with another couple and the space fit us 4 perfectly. We were outside almost 90% of our two day stay. The beds were comfortable, the space was so clean and the bathroom was so nice. You have all the space you need outside. We are already planning together a potential fall visit as the outside wood fire hottub was gorgeous. While we didn’t get to use the fire pit, everything you needed was there for it. The only very very small thing I would say is that some basic kitchen amenities were missing such as extra garbage/recycling bags, ice cube trays, coffee pods, salt and pepper and plates. I would recommend bringing some of these things (that does seem fair) and beach towels as there are only a few for showering and if you’re swimming and showering more than once a day. Also an extra blanket if you want to sit outside on the deck at night or in the living room, as it’s just the bedding (which is super comfy). Truly you can’t go wrong with this space, we had plans to keep travelling in the day to explore but just didn’t want to leave. Thank you SO much for hosting, we appreciate it so much. Hope to be back soon!

Hidden gem

We booked last minute and it turned out a fantastic vacation. The place looks like on the pictures, everything new. One bedroom has a firmer mattress and the other one is memory foam. So definitely you will find what is the best for sleeping habits:) The bathroom is spacious, clean and had all essentials. Sipping our morning coffee from the higher deck with the lake view was magnificent. Marie prepared coffee, sugar, cream, and all basics for the kitchen. Also there is big grocery store only 8 min drive. The place is spacious and cozy in the same time. Like home away home! We enjoyed the hot tub and bonfire in the evening. The kayak and paddle boat were so much fun! It’s great for families and safe for young children. Marie is super responsive and helpful. Thank you for the wonderful time and we would like to visit soon again!

Lovely quiet spot by lake

Beautiful location, well equipped apartment with all that you need. Canoe and pedalo were fun as was an early morning swim!

This neighbourhood has a Shopping Plaza at Porters Lake with Grocery Store, Pharmacy, Bank, Post Office, Restaurants, everything our guests will need during their stay. We are close enough to the major towns of Nova Scotia, Halifax and Dartmouth,

Our property is unique as even if not far from the city, it is secluded enough to give our guests a sense of privacy. The stunning view of Lake Chezzetcook is the getaway which our guests deserve to have a break, sip a glass of wine and relax.
