Why they chose this property

Shortgrass Resort is on 50+ acres just a few miles away from Spearfish, SD. We are easily accessed from I-90, but we are completely private. We have an onsite restaurant and bar, open only to overnight guests. We have over one mile of private river frontage that can be enjoyed lazy-river-style or just relaxing on our gorgeous dock, listening to our small waterfall.
