The rental was a good location to the beach. However, it’s right across the street from a restaurant and the views of employees constantly smoking or vaping went on all day. We didn’t realize the unit did not have a washer or dryer but luckily there is a laundry mat right downstairs. We didn’t like they wouldn’t replenish paper towels and there were no basic cleaning supplies. There were also quite a few ants we noticed and there were quite a few when they found food my kids dropped.
My kids loved the sand toys and the kites that were provided. They loved the bunk beds with their own lounge chair and tv. The space was excellent for a couple or small family. The upstairs was nice, but lounging up there to watch a movie is out of the question. The built in bench is very uncomfortable and not meant for long term use. I felt that was disappointing so the adults couldn’t really kick back and watch a movie. Overall, I’d say it was an average stay but we love Rockaway and the Oregon coast so it’s worth it.
