Fun little getaway

Small ,kinda unkempt on outside,had some rain that leaked in a bit in bathroom .but loved it right by the lake that we loved to swim in. Was just large enough for our family. Cottage was clean,but on the older side. We might come back again!

Nice and pleasant

The house was very much our style…old school and slightly imperfect. Don’t take that the wrong way…the house was well equipped and had an old cottage charm. You can’t beat the view as it is right on the lake. It’s also very quiet even though there are homes on both sides. It was a relaxing few days. I would recommend this property.

When the description said on Lake Ontario, it is a few steps away. It had great views of the lake. he area was quiet, basically farmland. However, small towns are within minutes of the location with plenty of friendly people. Ideal for a get away or as we did, a fishing trip. We would return again to this cottage.

very nice place we loved sitting out by the water having our morning coffee

very quiet and enjoyable place, our only issue was it didn't have air conditioning and that's something at my age I have to have You only have to bring your food and clothes, she supplied all the pots, pans, dishes, shampoo, soap towels, sheets, blankets, fans, grill, fire pit, cleaners and it was super clean

Nice view, quiet road

The view was incredible. The neighbors were quiet. The house was definitely a "summer cottage", but it was equipped with everything we might need. There was not a level floor throughout, and the shower drain ran slower and slower each day. There was a significant amount of water in the yard that appeared to be gray water from the shower/sink. The house was cool at night but very warm during the day. Some screens need replacing. The wifi was incredibly spotty. All that being said, it was a nice, quiet get away close enough to some things we wanted to visit

Lakefront Living

Lovely view, beautiful sunsets, peaceful setting, easy access to the lake, fence for little ones safety but not view blocking. Although I was the only one staying there, I had visitors from babies, toddlers, youngsters, teens and adults. Room for outdoor activities as well as water fun.

Glancing with a view!

cute cottage, amazing location and view. Swimming wasn't possible from the property edge and the outside of the house was covered in spiders. It was fun for the kids, but not for the faint of heart! Overall it suited our needs and was an adventurous experience.

It’s all about the view!

I would consider this more of a “glamping” experience as opposed to a “cozy” cottage. Ultimately, you are paying for the views, not the house itself. Luckily it has running water and electricity! The house itself is outdated and needs quite a bit of love. Gnats were abundant inside & out once the sun sets. This space is ideal for a quick couple get away but wouldn’t recommend with small children due to the difficult terrain getting down to the water. Likely won’t return to this specific home but love the area!
