Hilltop Nest — Sequoia and Kings National Park

With 2 queen beds and 1 bunk bed, there's plenty of space for everyone to unwind and get a good night's sleep. The house also features WiFi, a washing machine, a hair dryer, heating, and AC for your convenience. The 2 bathrooms are equipped with showers and hair dryers. Additionally, there is an extra living room with 2 air mattresses for even more comfort. We look forward to welcoming you to our place.

About this space

A delightful 3 bedroom, 2 bath home with beautiful views in the Squaw Valley (Yokuts Valley) foothills. Located on the way to many mountain activities, Sequioa/Kings Canyon National Parks, Pine Flat Lake, and Cat Haven, etc. Sit back on this Very Nice property, and relax while soaking in nature. Being on top of the hill, many different species of birds can be seen. Our yearly Turkey are running around with their babies daily. Fully stocked kitchen and BBQ. Bring what you want to cook and enjoy!

The space

The house is set on 5 acres with a great eastern view. Hiking can be done on the property while enjoying different nature views.
There is an outdoor seating area with a BBQ, and a firepit. (The fire pit is seasonal from December to April, but may vary from season to season.) You can hang out, BBQ, play some music and relax while enjoying the views.
There is Bear Mountain Pizza, Dollar General, and Bear Mountain Auto less than 10 minutes away. On the way to the National Parks there are other places to stop and enjoy a meal, coffee, or convenient snacks.

It is about a 40 minute drive to the National Parks, Grant Grove Village, The Big Sequoia Trees and Trail, as well as Pine Flat Lake/dam and the Kings River. Cat Haven is about 20 minutes from the home.

There can be snow, however due to the elevation it does not last long, making the drive easy. The house is great for a family Thanksgiving or Christmas.

NOTE: The house is listed for 10 people, however up to 16 can stay for an additional charge per person after 10. Two of the bedrooms have queen beds and one has a bunk bed (twin bed over full size). There are also two queen air mattresses available for use.

Guest access

There is easy access into the house, there are no stairs, and it is a single story home. There is a keypad entry on the front door.

There is ample outside parking for multiple vehicles. The garage is equipped with an EV (electric vehicle) charger. (Please advise if this will be used so the operating card can be left for use)

There is a covered RV carport that can be available upon request

The house has been updated, and most of the furniture is new/newer. The house has been professionally cleaned and will be continued to be maintained that way.

This is a shared driveway for my long-term rental, which is passed the main house. There are signs indicating their area is private and not for exploring. NO PARTIES!
