My husband and I were both born and raised in Vancouver and we love to call Denman Island our home away from home!! It truly is a special place. We both LOVE to travel, cook and find great places to dine!! We are adventurous and like being outdoors, but most of all we love going camping with our two beautiful daughters and sweet loving dogs Charlie & Teddy.
Why they chose this property
Imagine yourself and up to six other guests in this waterfront property for a relaxing and adventure-filled time on Denman Island. Kick back on the large deck and enjoy the property's natural beauty. Take a swim in crystal clear ocean water. Famous Hornby Island is a short drive and ferry away, as is central Vancouver Island if you wish to explore off this "inner island."
What makes this property unique
Our family home of 20+ years that we now share with guests from around the world is an award-winning architecturally designed one that sits on Sunset Beach along the Straight of Georgia.
The house has a large open post and beam design with a combined living room, dining area, and kitchen. The tall windows allow for views of the ocean and surrounding trees. The large deck overlooks the water, has a picnic table, and is the best spot on the island to catch the sunset and enjoy stargazing.
There are two bedrooms with a king and queen bed. Additionally, there's a comfy double sofa bed and a single-day bed. All sleeping spaces have ocean views.
There are two washrooms, one shower, and a bathtub (PLEASE NOTE: As water is fed from a well, guests are reminded that there are water restrictions during the summer and fall months when there is little rainwater).
A separate laundry room with a utility sink is available for use.
