They deliver and pick up.

Great house, great location

This property fulfilled all our needs, lots of space, and great outdoor areas. The widow's walk was awesome! The house was spotless upon our arrival. The location couldn't have been much better, our family had a wonderful time and really enjoyed the house. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a sweet rental close to the beach.

Just right

My family and I just ended a week long family reunion vacation at South Bethany Beach. We were pleasantly surprised when we walked into the house. It was clean, spacious and bright. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking and baking dishes, utensils, pots and pans, serving dishes, etc.... There were 6 adults and 3 littles and we had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy time together and space to enjoy alone time as well. The location is convenient for access to the beach with just a block or two to walk. There was plenty of on site parking The listing does mention that you must supply all bed linens, towels and pillows. We did rent from a rental company that was recommended but when we arrived, there were more than enough bed pillows and comforters on all the beds. Downside - take a gate for the stairs if you have crawlers or toddlers. It would have been helpful to have had a high chair and or booster seat on site. We did supply our own I would recommend this house to anyone.

One of the best places to vacation with family/friends

The house was just right for me and my family. It had enough bedrooms, bathrooms, living space, kitchen area. Decks were spacious whether you like the sun or shade. Neighbors were friendly. House is located 1 block from the beach. Beach was clean and well patroled by lifeguards. There was enough open beach sand to play bocce, can jam, wiffle ball, volleyball. The house has the best location to visit the water park, kayaks, shopping, the boardwalk at Rehoboth, golf and some great restaurants. We had a great time.

Another fantastic week in this house! Very clean, close to beach and has everything you need in a beach house. Widows walk with chairs, swing on outside deck, great parking, outdoor shower, open concept great room and more! We plan on renting again next year! Wonderful house!!

South Bethany is great location for family vacay

We had 6 adults and 4 children ages 7, 5, 2 and 1. The house was located just a 2 min. walk to the beach which allowed people to go back and forth easily for lunch, naps etc. Very convenient to anywhere you want to drive to in the area. I would highly recommend this property.

Summer stay at # 6, South Eighth Street, South Bethany Beach, Delaware

My family (wife, daughter, son-in-law, and two grandkids) spent a week at the rental house described. Three stories, four bedrooms, three full baths, one half-bath. Outside deck on second floor, outside deck on third floor, rooftop deck. All the amenities were available and in fine working order. Good location, a five minutes (or less) walk to a less crowded beach. Easy biking into Bethany Beach itself (bike rentals abound). Owner/manager was accessible, attentive, responsive. All around a good time. Highly recommended.

Home exceeded our expectations!

Home was in great shape, loved the deck and deck furniture, enjoyed screen porch on our one rainy day. Very short walk to the beach! Tons of parking! Will definitely consider this property again!

7 Days of Fun in the Sun

Our time in South Bethany Beach was spectacular. Our beach rental allowed for sunlight to pour in the common areas which enabled us to feel like we were outside all day long. Not to be missed was the rooftop sitting area with extraordinary views over the bay and ocean. We had an incredible firework show on July 4th from the convenience of our home! No driving, no crowds and the fireworks were viewed from multiple sites throughout Bethany from our perch on the crows nest. Beach walk was simple, and our beach uncrowded. The neighborhood was family friendly and the convenience of a walkable gourmet market added to its convenient location. We highly recommend Catch 54 restaurant in Fenwick Island, Shark Cove Marina for a Pontoon boat cruise and Steamers Seafood Market for fresh oysters. Don't forget to bring your beach chairs, umbrellas and games!

Nice place; could use a little upkeep

There was a lot we liked about this property. Great location, spacious layout, and plenty of space indoor and outdoor to retreat to. Overall, it's in good condition but there are signs of expected wear and tear within the home, kitchen cabinets, and some appliances. Unfortunately we encountered some untimely issues during our stay. We immediately contacted the property manager who was prompt and responsive to our calls and emails. So, our advice would be, if something is not as you expect, give him a call. He will take care of it for you. We also suggest taking a drying rack (or two!). There are not enough towel racks/ hooks and only a small wash line for wet suits and towels and bath towels. We do plan to return to this property next year!

Perfect Beach Vacation!

This house is great! It sleeps 10+ with spacious bedrooms (with really comfy beds!) and 3.5 baths so everyone has plenty of space! I love the living area - the kitchen, dining room and living room are all open and it's a great space for everyone to hang out and still have plenty of room. We loved the balconies - the kids had theirs on the 2nd floor that connected to those bedrooms and the adults enjoyed our morning coffee and afternoon beverages on the 3rd floor deck. The rooftop deck was perfect for watching the fireworks and sunsets. We've stayed at this house several times and enjoy it more and more each time. We also love the outdoor shower to rinse off after the beach and the storage room on the main level where we kept our beach chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, etc. so we didn't track sand into the house. We love this house!

Great stay in Bethany Beach

The house is pretty much as pictured. It was clean when we arrived, beds are comfortable, and the kitchen nicely equipped. The BBQ works very well. The wi-fi is weak and when we were all working or doing something it got pretty slow. But wi-fi services in Bethany seem to be an issue. But the best by far was the beach. It is a block away and it was wonderful. Jeremy was responsive and clear in his communications with us.

Memorable Vacation had by all!

The house was well equipped and clean when we arrived. Rooms were spacious and we loved the open kitchen-family room-dining area combined. The outdoor deck was great however due to rain every evening this week the cushions didn't have a chance to dry out so we were able to really use the space. The screened in porch was awesome for eating crabs and playing games. Overall, it was a very special family vacation. Thank you for opening your home. We will definitely plan a return trip!

Mostly good, but some issues

The house was good, with good layout and well equipped kitchen and convenient to the beach. However, there were only two beach chairs and no umbrella. We are used tp houses being better equipped, so we had to rent both an umbrella and beach chairs. The other more important amd dangerous issue was the malfunctioning propane grill!! We called about replacing/fixing it and it was replaced within 48 hours, but too late for us to use for a birthday party. The free golf was good.

Could have been great, instead disappointing

The property itself is in a great location, close to the beach, and nicely appointed. Sadly though, our 50th anniversary celebration with our children and grandchildren was horribly marred by the unit not having been cleaned after the previous tenant--and evidently NOT given a thorough cleaning before the start of the season. We literally stuck to the kitchen floor! We suspected it might have been the result of spilled fruit juice, but came to realize it was the grime generated by cooking with an over range exhaust fan than that does not vent to the outside. It took multiple scrubs with a degreaser to remove the sticky grime so that we wouldn't be tracking it across the shag carpeting. My oldest daughter was a real trooper taking on cleaning the floor, vacuuming sand from the carpets and from the duvets in two of the bedrooms, cleaning the counter tops and table top. No one should have to start a vacation in this manner.!! Sand had to be wiped from the drawers before clothing could be unpacked. Ants had to be killed before eating areas and bathrooms were usable. The futon proved too rickety to use, the dishwasher rack required repair, and the propane grill needed a serious cleaning AND a new battery to start the pilot. The threshold on the slider from the living room to the deck was loose, causing tripping, and all the sliding doors were extremely hard to slide. Fortuantely a Dollar General was close by to purchase a wrench, WD40, etc., to make necessary supplies. However, the whole point in renting a place at the beach is to get away from such tasks. If we had wanted the hassle of cleaning and maintaining a place at the beach we would have BOUGHT one, rather than renting. If layers of dust had been cleared from indoor wicker furniture, if the ceiling fans had been turned on at the fan so wall switches would function, or repaired, if the kitchens and baths had had a season deep clean, etc. our feeling about the experience would have been quite different. Losing time to cleaning and repairs--plus waiting for the Cable guy the day before our departure (since 2 of 4 TVs weren't working) really detracted from our enjoyment. Were this place properly maintained and cleaned it could be quite nice. There are spaces to gather and spaces to separate. The top floor and deck furnishings are quite nice, as is the screened porch with 2 picnic tables. A bonus was a porch swing on the second level. 1st floor storage room kept sandy items out.
