Spacious, comfortable, bright, and newly furnished casita. The casita (in-law unit, granny flat) consists of 2 rooms (See description), 1 bathroom, and a spacious balcony with seating area.
The unit is attached to the main house at 743 Magellan St, but it has its own independent entrance located right inside the gate at the front of the house behind the 1 car garage. It does not have access to the main house nor to its backyard.

The Casita is located on the second floor through stairs.

Description:
- The first room has a basic kitchenette (microwave, toaster, coffee maker ONLY), full size refrigerator, queen size sofa bed, and eating area (round table with 4 chairs).
- The second room is a bedroom with a Queen size bed, and a walk-in-closet. Fans located on each room. - The bathroom has 2 sinks, a bathtub with a safety bar that you can hold on if you need support in the shower/tub.

The home is located in a beautifully landscaped, upscale, safe, and quiet neighborhood, where homes are mostly homeowner occupied. There are no short term rentals in this neighborhood.

If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing place to stay for 1 month or longer and enjoy the best of Southern California beach living, this is your place!

We also have beach chairs, 2 surfboards, 1 body board, and a cooler that you can borrow so you can enjoy the nearby beach. The rent includes HOA fees, all utilities, and internet. Monthly rental only, (30 days or more)

Note: There is no stove, sink, or washing machine in the Casita. No air conditioning.

Quiet hours are 10PM to 8 AM.

What I love about it:

Seating at the balcony for coffee in the mornings and feeling the breeze, or in the afternoon, and watching the sunset over palm trees. Going for a walk in the nearby trail (2 blocks away) that overlook Batiquitos lagoon or going for a walk at the beach in South Ponto (2 blocks away).

The Casita has its independent, private entrance and the unit is on the second floor. You get a nice breeze through the windows, and it is bright with plenty of natural light. The home is also a short walking distance from a shopping center that has a Ralphs supermarket, Starbucks, and many dining options including fast food, ramen, seafood, Pizza, etc.
