About this property
Hidden 4 Bedroom Joglo Historical Home, Large garden, Natural Eco living!
Strategically located in North Seminyak, a nice location easily to reach important tourist destination such as Denpasar - the capital of Bali province - or Seminyak - the most interested touristic place in Bali. It is also close to Canggu area, a new favorite area especially for surfers -; it is about 15 minutes to the FINNS Recreation Club. On recent normal traffic, the Ngurah Rai International Bali Airport is about 1 hour driving. The area is actually chosen by local people to build their new homes in Denpasar to ease them to work. This is the reason this home is built here: guests staying here can feel Balinese touch and experience.
The House
Stand on large enough land, the villa boasts its verdant garden with fruit plantations such as kind of bananas, mangoes, mangoes, jack-fruits and guava. This is to show the visitors that human being is totally dependent on nature.
As the Javanese house commonly does, the central point of the house is the Soko Guru (four main column) made of strong teak. This Soko is surrounded by four rooms: three bedrooms and one extra AC room with 2 king single beds, and a large veranda for sitting and A/V entertainment area. This veranda is totally opened to view the large garden and pool. This makes the house is strongly related with the nature, even with no border. Guests may feel the air breezes and listen to the voice of leaves or crickets or frogs at night. Again, this is to show that human being can not be away from environment.
The Accommodation
All four rooms at the main structure are air-conditioned. Although the house is made of ex-used material, the visitors must feel happy with it by the air-conditioning, at least they can sleep peacefully. If there are still some more young people who wish to sleep in a simple way (open room), the Bale Kebo - large pool bale - can also be used as 'emergency room' with some mattresses on floor. All is at guests' own plan.
Rooms
Bedroom 1 - king size beds with ensuite semi open air garden bathroom
Bedroom 2 - king size beds with ensuite semi open air garden bathroom
Bedroom 3 - king size beds with ensuite bathroom
Bedroom 4 - 2 king size single beds - share use of bathroom with any of 3 other rooms)
All 4 bedrooms are air-conditioned, sleeps up to 8 guests comfortably.
The kitchen is located on one corner of the main house. It is fully equipped with good cooking facilities. The dining is set at the pool side pavilion, dining table is made of thick wood with 8 chairs made of wood from shipwreck.
