The Pelican Paradise house was originally built in the 1970s but was recently updated, with granite countertops and modern stainless appliances. Walk or take the trolly up to the Pier 60 play area near the Hilton Hotel. This great house is one of the most popular Clearwater Beach rentals, so it books up early.

The Space:
The Bay Esplanade House offers 5 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms and plenty of space for everyone. With a private pool, private laundry, big screen TVs in the common rooms and private TVs every bedroom, this awesome beach house is the perfect family vacation rental. The beach rental home's location is a highlight in a quiet area but a short walk to the sand and activities and has a large private pool with heat available.

With cable and wifi, this Clearwater Beach vacation rental is big enough for up to a maximum of 14 guests. If you are looking for a location where you do not need to have a rental car, you have found the perfect property. Each of the five bedrooms features a queen bed. In addition, the house offers a pull-out queen sleeper sofa and a trundle bed with two twin mattresses.

Any group or family wanting privacy will find this Florida beach rental ideal. The fifth bedroom is a lock off suite attached to the main beach house for a little separation from a big group but still under the same roof. This suite also has a private bath and an extra day bed with two twin beds. If you use the twin beds and fold out couch, the house will sleep 14.

You’re welcome to bring your boat as this beach rental house has a public boat ramp literally across the street, just steps away. The Bay Esplanade house also offers private parking and is roomy enough to park your boat trailer.

This charming Florida beach rental house is a perfect blend of comfort, proximity to the action and privacy. Recently renovated, the adorable vacation rental has a private pool, patio and gas grill. Guests are welcome to use the grill and propane tanks can be purchased nearby.

This beach home is the closest rental home to the tennis courts, big public pool and famous Pier 60 area which hosts the free daily sunset festival.

ADDITIONAL INFO AND DISCLOSURES:
We do not supply anything that is taken off the property including any coolers, floats, beach towels, chairs, etc. Liquid propane tanks for the grill can be purchased nearby. March and April, June, July and some other holiday times are minimum 7 nights and typically are Saturday to Saturday. Age minimums do apply and there is a significant cash security damage deposit for groups under 25 years old. Pets are possibly allowed but must be disclosed and there is a pet fee. The pool can be heated for an additional fee some months of the year.

Clearwater Beach Stay
The house is in a great location and has a great pool. The house was not clean and was in need of general maintenance. Also, certain items you would expect in a rental property were not provided. Overall, for the price paid we did not receive the quality I would expect.

Over all our stay were good the house was clean,neighborhood was quite and safe.The only problems came the day before check out.The kitchen sink began draining into the dishwasher and the dishwasher started leaking on the floor and the garbage disposal did not work.

We got there at four, and Housekeeping was still there. When they finished, there was a lot of dust and what looked like mold on the windowsill, and stains on the curtains. Pool maintenance came on an unscheduled day and surprised us. The Wi-Fi never once worked and the living room TV was not a smart TV. Beds and pillows were extremely uncomfortable and felt cheap. The fifth bedroom and third bathroom were outside the house and not easily visible, I had to ask property management where they were located. We did love the pool and overall the property was OK, nicer in the pictures.

Great Clearwater location
Great location for family gathering, easy walk to the beach. Pool wonderful! Able to park 4 cars in front or 1 truck with a boat trailer but not at the same time. House with comfortable bedding. Outside bedroom warmer than main house even with air conditioner, use the box fans! Inside house needs some love and attention to repair/replace some fixtures.

Fun but Not Well-Maintained
The property was a fun place located about 4 blocks from the public beach. Parking was excellent and the pool, although small, was nice. Of the 3 bathrooms, 2 drains were clogged with hair and debris, filling the tubs with water. It was gross. There are few extras in this place, like paper towels, tin foil, garbage bags or laundry detergent. Some of the furniture and furnishings were broken and the touch pad for the doors were dirty. Wear socks because your feet will be dirty from walking on the floors. Ceilings, doors and walls had stains and the showers had mold in the grout. The AC did not work incredibly well during the day and there is a warning not to turn it lower than 72 degrees or the unit will break. For the money paid, the cleanliness and condition were subpar.

It was a couple block walk to the beach, the pool was amazing - warm enough to swim in the morning and night and a fun hang out after the beach. there are chairs to rent from the restaurants on the beach for really good price if you don't have your own. the water at the beach is warm, not great for boogie boarding but perfect for little ones. the house was clean and comfortable traveling with a large family and kids! We would absolutely choose to stay at this location again.

The only suggestions I would make is that the home could really benefit from a week of good cleaning and small fixes/touchups. The air vents and doors were very filthy. The light fixtures have not been wiped clean in a long time. The pool was amazing, but the outdoor furniture was falling apart and the cushions were missing. I would stay here again just because of the location!

The Good and The Bad......

We brought kayaks and were able to dock them nearby so that was a huge perk! It has a very nice pool and for being in a busy area feels very private. The beds were all made and clean and the AC worked well. The extra pool and beach towels were nice. The not so good......unfortunately, the house did not look like the pictures online. The listing stated that the property was newly renovated, but it is not high-end quality by any means. We had to install shower rods and put-up the shower curtains. All the pool cushions are ripped and dirty. The entire pool area had trash and clearly was not cleaned/straightened. The front porch also was in bad shape. The furniture is rusted out and the tiles were broken and lifting. The inside was fairly clean but not very well straightened. A handful of broken dressers, the pool door handle was broken, and overall condition is fair. Overall, we are grateful to have had a week together with family but disappointed at how much we spent vs the condition of the home. This could be a very beautiful house with some TLC.

The pictures of this property were very deceiving we had to wash the sheets when we arrived due to stains on them the doors were filthy with handprints the bathroom sink did not drain at all kitchen counter was busted in front of the sink the dining table was missing a chair none of the patio furniture had cushions like the picture furniture was different then picture we had a couch with stains on it the view acrossed the street that we thought was going to be water from the description that you could fish from a dock was dumpsters the only good thing about this house for the price was the pool area and the location was decent

The house is nice, was clean and has the amenities you would need. There were just some minor issues such as a few curtain rods that kept falling down when opening curtains, water temperature was hard to regulate in some of the showers, pillows are very flat. There is no outside rinse area either.

Reviewer Comments: when we arrived there was still work being done on the house (tile being laid) cleaning staff still there; we were 15 min early for a 4pm check in, they were there until well after 4:30 pm. the house needs some more tlc - older home/older bathrooms - so I was a little disappointed. The location is walking distance to the beach we rarely used our car. best landscape in a kind of odd neighborhood -upcoming I would say. Pool and hot tub were great. nothing fancy here. Clearwater Beach is beautiful, but the choices in restaurants is limited to beach fare. nothing organic or high end to speak of - This house is most appropriate for families looking for a large number of beds -

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a group of 14. Three families with eight teenagers. This home was amazing! It was cute, clean, had plenty of space, and was perfectly located with less than a 5 minute walk to the beach, basketball courts, the gym, tennis, shops, restaurants, etc. We definitely loved the quick walk to the Palm Pavilion everyday for great food, drinks, and music. The room that slept 5 with adjoining bathroom was a great space. The 4 other bedrooms and bathrooms were nice too. Plenty of room in the two living room and kitchen areas also. We loved the backyard pool area as well, and the laundry near the pool was conveniently located. The hot tub was not heating the first two days, and they responded to our email by immediately sending someone to fix the problem. We had everything we needed and plenty of space for our large group. I would recommend staying here and can't wait to come back!
