Second time around

This was our second stay, so I guess we must like it. Seems like they improved the shower since last time, so that was nice. TV was a little difficult to get up and running but we eventually managed. Only other (very minor) thing would be to flip the hinges on the refrigerator door so it opens on the other side. Everything else was just fine!

Cozy and just right

Every new place takes a little learning but the owners here were so easy to get hold of, kind and responsive it made it all work easy. We would come back again.

Perfect place for our weekend stay

Three of us had a good experience in this little cottage. We liked the original charm of the place, it seemed to match the town of Quincy quite well. It was walking distance to the downtown area and was in a nice neighborhood. Much better than staying in a motel, we were quite comfortable there. We would recommend it!

Quaint Quincy Cottage is Cozy

I though the home was decorated in a way that made the home bright, comfortable and warm. On cold mornings, the fireplace would light up and warm the house with a comforting glow.

Generally a good stay

Check in easy, cabin was generally clean. Check out list requests were a bit extensive including doing all laundry…bedding and towels, shutting off breakers, sweeping, and hauling trash to the local dump. Host accommodated a late checkout which we truly appreciated and the home location in Quincy was good. Home was older and had old home features- limited outlets, uneven floors, dated bathroom, older bedding. Amenities were very limited. Generally a good option of the housing choices in Quincy.

Adorable

Perfect accommodation for what we needed. We drove 12 hrs thru the night to drop off our daughter and her horse to FRC. We arrived to check-in earlier than expected and contacted the host. He was gracious and allowed us to check in several hours early . The property is small and QUAINT just as described. But perfect. I was obsessed with farmhouse sink. Beds are twins. It’s a little squeaky when you walk around. Bathroom is small and odd shaped. But I find that it all makes up for itself in the charm. If you are looking for luxury accommodations, this isn’t it. We were not looking for that or expecting anything other than what we got. The pictures describe the place perfectly… I actually thought it was bigger than I expected based off the pictures. We will be staying here again as it is so close to our daughter.
