Peaceful California Bungalow.
This unit has rustic charm with all the comforts.
18 Blocks from Santa Monica Beach
The unit is a Studio back house attached to the main house.
This space is completely private with a separate entrance.
Beautiful Sun-lit cottage with wood floors and wood walls.

One 12x12 Main room/bedroom with a queen bed.
This main room looks out over the backyard where hummingbirds, songbirds and sparrows live. Very peaceful.
A walk in closet adjoins the Main Room but serves more as a writing area and closet area.
Bathroom has a claw foot tub for a relaxing soak and is also a Shower.
Kitchenette is a very small space that is the entry to the unit. There is a sink, mini fridge, hot plate, toaster oven/convection oven, microwave and coffee press. This is a small kitchenette it does not have a full oven only a toaster oven. Perfect for small easy meals made on a hot plate.
Always stocked with Sparkletts purified water, coffee and tea.

Orthopedic Pillow and Mattress top with two regular pillows also.

Great Santa Monica home base

We really enjoyed our stay at Rachel's home! It was a lovely, if small / cozy, space that worked perfectly as a home base throughout our few days in Santa Monica. Easy to find, great neighborhood, very clean and home-y, and Rachel was very helpful.

Wonderful Home Away From Home

Wonderful cottage, in the back and off the street. I'd grown up down the street so it was doubly wonderful to find a place so close to my childhood home. Nice, quiet neighborhood and location to everything the city has to offer. Great little kitchen. Rachael checked in to see how I was doing from time to time. I hope to return to Santa Monica and hope to stay here again as well. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Lovely Space in SM

The space was great and had everything I needed for an enjoyable stay. I really appreciated all the kitchen and bathroom items! The owner was very nice and responsive. The neighborhood was quiet and it was only a short walk to some of my favorite restaurants. Overall, very good experience!

Quiet getaway

The neighborhood we stayed in was lovely. The owner allowed us to drop off our luggage early and told us where we could find good food and shopping within in walking distance. The place is only 18 blocks from the beach which was a delightful walk. We liked staying here. Two thumbs up!

Just what I needed

I was in town for a few days apartment searching and this rental was great for what I needed. It was a good "home base" between appointments to work and regroup. Very clean and excellent location. Quiet and safe. Check in and parking was easy. Rachael was very helpful when I had questions or needed anything.

Best place in the world!!

John and I stayed here for 2 weeks. The bungalow was so lovely and peaceful. Even though there was no TV, this was not important to us especially after John was recovering from an illness, it was the perfect recovery, after all, TV is full of doom and gloom. Rachael and her partner were so lovely and respectful of privacy and very thoughtful. Please respect Rachaels property when you are there as it is so beautiful. Love from John and Jill xxx

Great stay

It is a great place to stay for a few days. It's nice to have a little place for yourself, instead of a big hotel or something. Additionally, the garden is very nice. The hostess, Rachael, is very helpful and kind.

Cute, affordable, bungalow, perfect location too :)

This was the best booking option. This was such a cute bungalow that was perfect for my boyfriend and I. It included air conditioning, fridge, microwave, hot plate ( you can cook all kinds of food on it), sink, bathtub/shower, only thing missing was a TV. This was in a very safe neighborhood, we felt safe to walk around outside and was very close to many cafes/shops. About a 30 minute walk to the beach, 10/15 on bike which she has for rent, or about $5/8 ride for uber or lift. Also close to Hollywood, only about 20/30 minute drive with traffic. This is perfect for a couple. The bed was so comfortable, would love to stay again when if we come back to Santa Monica. Very sweet owner she helped us with any questions we had!
