Charming Guest House, fully furnished, newly renovated, one half block from prime Santa Monica Beach. Use our bikes, surfboards, and beach games. Two outside permitted parking spaces included. Ocean views and breezes, lots of light, wood floors, and dutch fireplace.
Owner lives on the property with her very friendly dog. Lots of atmosphere. Private master bedroom with new queen size bed and living room with new twin sized cone daybed with a twin size trundle. Fully equipped kitchen allows for cooking your own meals.
A very friendly spot adjacent to four star hotels, the pier, nightlife, and wonderful nature.

What a great place!
We’re so happy with our stay here. The owner of the house is so friendly and made us feel so at home. Allowed us to use anything lying around including beach toys, bikes, surfboards, the lot! Brilliant location absolutely second to none and a nice and quiet neighbourhood. All in all, a very comfortable stay.

Wonderful stay!
Lovely tucked away flat in backyard, beautifully and lovingly decorated. Communications with host were very easy and quick, superb location with beach 1 min walk away. Very good storage for suitcases and clothes, washing opportunity is great. Would come back for another visit anytime!

Nice Place, Great Location
It's a nice place. Small but comfortable. Would stay there again. Very nice to have bikes that you can use. We took advantage of that a couple of times. It's an easy walk to the pier and easy bike to Venice Beach. The upstairs frig is very small, but there is a bigger one downstairs that you have access to so...not a big deal. Just a minor inconvenience if you're there for more than a couple of days.That said, there are few things that could be better:- The stairs are not well lit when going down and they are very narrow especially for someone with big feet like me. - Not sure the "queen" bed is actually a queen.- TV comes with Roku so if you want to watch football, like I did, you better know how to find that. I did not.- Small thing, but there were no coffee filters. She did offer to reimburse me so that was nice.

Property is great/safe and couldn’t be closer to the beach. Finding it was easy, Check in was easy and the place was everything the listing says. Ingelise was a great host, wish I could’ve pet the dog :) Next time…5/5.

My partner's son, pregnant daughter-in-law and 2.5 year-old granddaughter spent Thanksgiving visiting us in LA. They were kindly accommodated with an early check in so their daughter could nap. The place was comfortable and close to the beach. Great stay!

Perfect location, quick walk to Santa Monica pier and beach. The unit was adorable and well stocked. We had a wonderful trip and this home away from home was a key part in it!

Perfect getaway
Our stay was amazing. My wife and I stayed for 3 days. I wish I would have stayed longer. The apartment had everything we needed. We used the bikes the first day we rode to the Santa Monica pier any to Venice Beach. It was an easy ride. The host was very easy to communicate with. Hopefully we can make another trip to California and stay again.

The upstairs cottage was quiet while still being close to the beach and to restaurants. Bathroom is very small and only one queen size bed makes it limited on guests. Felt very secure.

Excellent property and host, well described. Very clean, comfortable and well-equipped. Although all required permits are provided, street parking availability varies with time of day and beach lot parking, while reasonably convenient, was commonly gated and locked. Apparently there is a code to open the lock, but we did not learn of that until the end of our stay which caused some inconvenience.

Fantastic stay!
This space was perfect for our family of 4 with two young kids for a short 2 night stay. Owner was friendly and communication was easy when we had a question. Location to beach and pier could not be beat! Quick walk to the beach was awesome with young kids in tow. We used the sand toys and beach towels offered to us by the owners. Both bed in bedroom and trundle bed were comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

Upon entering the property you are walloped in the face with the fragrance from the immaculately manicured garden and flowers. The property itself is a beautifully kept property above the garage so no worries about disturbing any one below you. The house was clean but does show its age in places. The house is located a stones throw from the beautiful beach, less than a 10 minute walk from the pier and a short drive from a couple of different grocery stores. In addition it offers really easy access to the highway. The host was perfect. Easy communication and didn’t bother us at all during our relaxing stay. The only downside to this property, while secure and safe does back on to an ally where we witnessed a couple of suspicious activities taking place. It also lacks substantial AC for those hotter days. The AC in the bedroom was a lifesaver but having it throughout the home would make it perfect. The only other down side of this beautiful property is the staircase leading to the house is rather narrow which did result in our 2 year old falling and sadly losing a tooth. Otherwise the home is beautiful, perfect location, safe and exactly what we would have hoped for!
