In front of the house is a beautiful view of Custer State Park's Needles and direct access to the famed Mickelson trail. The trail takes you to majestic Stockade lake and into Custer State Park going east and into downtown Custer going west.
Just to the east of the house is a trail entrance to the Black Hills National Forest where you can hike or enjoy some off-roading with your ATV or snowmobile.
Behind the house is another house, a barn, and several hundred feet beyond is a small quiet mobile home park.
