(a) The famed MICKELSON TRAIL bike path and Black Hills NATIONAL FOREST HIKING & OHV trails converge at your doorstep
(b) LARGE PARKING AREA for BIKES, BOATS, OFF-ROAD VEHICLES, TRUCKS, SNOWMOBILES, TRAILERS, etc.
(c) CENTRAL BLACK HILLS:
3-min: Downtown Custer, Custer State Park, Stockade Lake
10-min: Crazy Horse
15-min: Jewel Cave Nat'l Monument
20 min: Wind Cave Nat'l Park
30-min: Mt Rushmore
40-min: Mammoth Site


In front of the house is a beautiful view of Custer State Park's Needles and direct access to the famed Mickelson trail. The trail takes you to majestic Stockade lake and into Custer State Park going east and into downtown Custer going west.

Just to the east of the house is a trail entrance to the Black Hills National Forest where you can hike or enjoy some off-roading with your ATV or snowmobile.

Behind the house is another house, a barn, and several hundred feet beyond is a small quiet mobile home park.

Lovely stay!

Stayed here with a friend so we could be close to Custer state park, it was perfect! It has a bike path steps away which was awesome, plenty of room and I always love when a place has Roku or a way to use apps on the tv. Highly recommend for anyone who loves the Custer area. Beds were comfortable too and it has a/c. If you plan on grilling though bring charcoal (or go to the dollar general a few miles away)
