Horrible AC

This house was recently renovated and placed on vrbo. Check in and communication was great. Our group checked in late Friday and noticed each bed room had a portable ac unit and all the fans were on. The downstairs temperature was nice and comfortable. Upstairs however was very warm it cooled down but it was late in the night. The next day as the sun came out the rooms were becoming extremely warm and uncomfortable. I reached out to the property manager and he was very quick to respond. He is very polite and apologized he wasn’t able to get a technician out. we simply had to deal with it. The master bed room was reading 83 degrees. After i checked out I addressed my concerns and he assured me he would get someone out there and stop by the house himself. He came and stated the rooms were fine and the master bedroom was warm because somehow the portable unit was moved and the vent was exposing the window. We did not move the unit! I asked that we find a solution in a way both parties can feel good about. I requested that half of the nights fee be refunded due to the house not being ready. the upstairs ac unit clearly is not working properly hence the portable unit in each individual room. He offered to refund me 25 percent refund for each night for my experience.. I declined his offer and explained to him I’d much rather not take that refund and I’d feel more comfortable writing a true and honest review.. I hope they fix this for the next guest that rents this place

Great stay

Great place to stay. Something for everybody from adults to kids. The host was very friendly and informative. Looking forward to staying again.
