About this property

I am usually not interested in 2 night rentals during the high season (May-September) and holidays, but you are welcome to make an inquiry (sometimes I make exceptions based on scheduling and market conditions). It is at my discretion to determine number of days, so please check with me before you make solid plans with your group and put in a reservation.

This home will have significant improvements for 2025 with all new smart TV’s, garage game Room with 80” TV. Many new Mattresses, Bedding, and furnishings. New quartz kitchen counters, newly refinished hardwood flooring.
Other Key pieces include an 11 foot dining table (from an historic Bellevue mansion) that seats 14, a high end antique billiards table, teak and composite patio furniture.

Outside living on this huge, private 1.25 acre lot with large deck, , a grill, and teak dining furniture. Additional outdoor seating on the front farmer's porch and the rear deck. The front and back yards are the size of football fields, and the landscaping affords the rear of the property plenty of privacy as it borders farmland.

The location of this home allows its guests a central location to all the island has to offer. Its one straight shot 5 miles off Newport Bridge. Downtown Newport, Beaches, Wedding Venues, and Restaurant/Bars are all within a 5-10 minute drive. Sweetberry Farm and a local playground are walking distance. Golf and Vineyards are also minutes away. This is an ideal central, private, safe location close to everything.

Perfect Spot for a Special Celebration

We couldn’t have chosen a better place to celebrate a 60th birthday with a group of ten women! The property was stunning—beautifully kept and incredibly clean. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, ensuring everyone had a restful stay. The pool table provided endless fun, and the spacious couch comfortably seated all of us for relaxing evenings together. Plus, the convenient location made for a quick Uber ride to downtown Newport. To top it all off, the host was wonderfully responsive and quick to assist with our questions. Highly recommend this gem!

Bonding Weekend Trip

Great weekend! We had an amazing time, all the amenities were lovely, and the kitchen was awesome. It’s the perfect size for a large group and the pool table / poker table / large table are awesome for group fun. Would definitely recommend! The host is very accommodating.

Great accommodations

I had my 30th celebration with my closest friends and we had a blast! Space was big and clean and easy to check in and out. Chris was great in accommodating a mess up with the listing that we really appreciated. Definitely recommend!

Great, but smelly

Our stay was great! The house was clean and mostly reflected the images advertised online. However, the house does have a distinct moldy/mildewy smell to it as soon as you enter (probably attributed to the hot tub kept in the garage). The smell was also present in the sheets and towels. Other than the smell we had no issues! Thank you for the hospitality

Wedding weekend in Newport

My wife and I rented this property for 2 nights in order to have our 2 daughters’ families be able to stay with us along with a babysitter. The property was perfect for our needs but as far as the maintenance and cleanliness was concerned, less than what one would expect for the money.

Good for large groups, but...

Good for large groups, but they don't even have made beds when you get in, and there was mold in some of the bathrooms, and a moldy smell in portions of the house. At least for the TVs we tried, they were not smart Tvs so hard to use for streaming.

Sailing Team Review

We came to Newport to race our 44 ft sailboat in a 3 day regatta. This house was perfect for us. The private bedrooms worked well for older people while the bunk room for those in 20s and 30’s single guys. The house offered more than we actually used. Great place.

Perfect for our family

Property was exactly as described. It was clean, not a lot of clutter, most of the essentials were provided. Having two refrigerators worked very well for us! The hot tub/game room in the closed garage was not appealing but did not impact our stay at all. Would absolutely stay again.

Perfect Place for a Company Retreat!

The house was exactly as described online - even better! The beds were plentiful and comfy and there were kitchen supplies to cook for loads! (not food, but pots, pans, etc) Chris was an awesome and responsive host and we couldn't have asked for anything better. This place was perfect for big groups and I will be recommending it to everyone. Also the hot tub was awesome!!

A special landlord

We enjoyed staying in Newport and walking the beach and cliff walk. The old "problem" was that the two driveway lights were not working and we arrived after dark due to traffic delays on I95. However, we left a cutting board there, I called the Landlord and within an hour he had mailed it to me and texted me the receipt so that I could pay it with Zelle. Couldn't have been more helpful! Thank you. He also responded promptly to all of my crazy emails prior to our stay in the house. The setting is beautiful.

My sons wedding at the Eisenhower house

I would highly recommend staying in this beautiful home. It was large enough with 7 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms for everyone to have privacy, and "homey" enough with a great Dinning room, living room for family together time. The bar room with the pool table was a enjoyed by all. I would definitely stay here again. Not only did it meet my expectations, it surpassed them.

Family Gathering

This house was perfect to accommodate our family attending a Newport wedding during the high season. The cousins hadn't seen each other for a bit, so they enjoyed all that the house offered in terms of entertainment while being able to retire to their own private quarters following playtime. The house could use another pool cue or two. Strangely, there were no scissors in the house.

Super fun for big family vacation

Big, spacious and clean. Awesome pool table, bar area and big dining room table for entertaining. The kids really enjoyed the TV room for evening movies. Owner and management were also very nice and very responsive to my texts. We would have appreciated a few more amenities for the price and the noise signs everywhere are a turnoff. The hot tub is nice, but would be a lot more fun if not in a garage with a garage door that doesn't open. Overall, I would book again.

Really great location and plenty of room

Stayed here for Labor Day weekend for a wedding in Newport and the location was really close, really spacious with plenty of room to stay, really enjoyed the entire weekend!

Our stay at 1332 Green End Ave

House was super clean. Bedrooms were all comfortable and large enough for our group. A/C in all the rooms. There was plenty of room in the downstairs for all of us to be together at meals and play time, large table sat everyone at once, kids loved the pool table. Kitchen was small but well supplied. The backyard was great for us, large and wide open, sports and games. Location was good for us, Howland Park is a short walk and we used the pickleball courts for family tournaments. (there is only one net so we brought our own, there are 3 courts). Sweet Berry Farm is across the street from the park and was a great place to go for lunch. Green End Ave was a bit busy but the house is set far back from the road. The location is just minutes from the beaches and a short ride to Newport. Neighborhood was very nice, good for walks and bike riding. Communication with Valerie (manager) and Chris (owner) was excellent. We had a problem with the outside grill and within 2 hours it was replaced. Did not use the hot tub or ping pong table in the garage, a little dark for the kids. The only thing that wasn't working was the ice maker in the fridge, we never gave it a thought because we had to buy a lot of ice anyway. Overall, we had a great time, we are a very active family and the house worked really well for us.
