Nice remote getaway

Photos are accurate and it was great to have a dock to go out on. It was very peaceful. Unfortunately, we didn’t catch any fish or crabs in late August. House has a comfortable layout. Lots of outdoor games for kids. Communication with the host was easy and timely. Close to Cambridge lighthouse, RAR brewery, and blackwater nature reserve. NOTE: If you plan on cooking with your group, I’d recommend bringing some basics, knives and serving bowls. The kitchen did have good pans, pots and lids.

Great family stay

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. We liked the private, open land and private dock and lake. We swam in the lake which was super fun but we felt stinging and got rashes and realized the next day that there were jelly fish so beware before you go it to look out for them. The paddle boats were fun but one of them was a little broken and only went in circles. The Ranger was really fun to drive and ride in but it stalled the second day. The fire pit was really nice and we enjoyed riding our bikes around the property. We also took a little hike in the forest which was fun. The screened porch was a fun and relaxing spot where my kids enjoyed playing games. The house is nice and new and comfortable. When we plugged in two items into the island it blew the circuit and my husband had to switch it back on from the main board and then everything worked fine. Overall it was a great stay and my family enjoyed it a lot!
