About this property

Rare Find!

The home is on a hill above the Hinkle Creek Nature Area. Five bedrooms – four upstairs with king size beds and one downstairs with a double bed. A large private backyard with a gigantic pool and hot tub, oversized patio and the shade is provided by a beautiful blue oak tree. We are located about 2 miles from historic downtown Folsom. Family room with 96" TV, dining room and living room. This is a great place to relax, float in the pool, take a hot tub or just sit in the shade of the blue oak. Access to the garage is not included. No Pets. No Parties. Family gatherings encouraged, but need to keep noise to a minimum - we have a beautiful patio for you to enjoy conversations and children playing in the pool, but playing music is not allowed.
Hinkle Creek Nature Area is a thirty-six acre lot of pure nature. It consists of a stunning trail that coils around gorgeous trees, petite pastures, and the Hinkle Creek. This picturesque nature area is wonderful for leisurely walks and trail running. When you get to the home we will give you directions to the Indian grinding rocks in the nature area. The nature area is serene and quiet … although you might be serenaded by the coyotes at night! Over the ridge beyond the Hinkle Creek Nature Area is the Lew Howard Park. This facility has a kids play ground, basketball courts, tennis courts, BBQ/picnic areas you can also enjoy.
Bring or rent bikes - the home is about 1 mile away from the American River Bike Trail, which runs from Granite Bay to downtown Sacramento along the beautiful American River and away from traffic - round trip is about 70 miles. You can also rent paddle boards/canoes to enjoy Lake Natoma which is adjacent to the Folsom Historic district.
Historic Folsom is a very fun place to visit. Lots of good restaurants, Saturday farmers market next to the Folsom Light Rail Station and even an ice-skating rink Thanksgiving through New Years Eve.
Special events are the Folsom Rodeo over the 4th of July weekend and California International Marathon in December (start line is about 1 ½ miles from the home)

Family event in Sacramento

I had to find a home where my mom, daughter and I could have our own privacy yet gather and have fun. The neighborhood was upscale and quiet with the views from the hot tub just as pictured. There was a mound of fruit and snacks left for us and the kitchen is fully stocked. Communication with the host was prompt and friendly. I am planning to stay here again in the future.

Spring Friends Reunion

This property was perfect for our group of 10. We are a group of Restaurant and hospitality industry people. The home was stocked with mostly everything we needed. And the Hosts were more than accommodating to meet all our needs. There are many walking trails in the nature preserve behind the house and we all took advantage of the beautiful scenery along the way. We have already planned to return next year. Highly recommend!

Amazing home!!

This house absolutely amazing!! The location is fantastic, very close to everything and a very quiet nice neighborhood. The home is GORGEOUS and even better than the pictures. The beds were all so comfortable and the living areas were perfect for our group and very comfortable after a long day out on the trails. Communication with the hosts was easy and very helpful. One of the best homes we’ve stayed in! Highly recommend if you’re looking to stay in the area!

Wedding getaway

Visited the Sacramento Valley this fall to attend my nieces wedding. We decided to stay in Folsom because we have a family friend that lives in that area. We had our adult children and my in-laws join us. The property was accommodating for our needs. Early October was still warm enough to use the pool and the hot tub was nice for the cooler evenings. The property was clean and the beds were comfortable.
