About the host

We started this project in 1999. Our first restaurant was a little wooden box on the beach in 2003. My son Tobias designed all the buildings on the property and picked out or designed all the artwork. He is an architect in San Francisco. I have met some very wonderful people since we started business there. We are off-grid and independent from municipal systems. A huge solar system runs our establishment, and many alternative systems. It has been a great adventure.
Why they chose this property
We saw growth in the late ‘90’s and we went for it. We like remote locations and have lived that way before.
What makes this property unique
We are very modern for starters. We offer amenities that bigger hotels offer, a/c, zoomable internet. Restaurant and bar open all day from 8am till 9 pm. Excellent food and service. Room service. Airport transportation available. We can schedule massages. We do live music. Retreats, conferences, photos hoots and weddings.
