Cozy Studio in Black Forest



This charming, cozy cabin is located in the Black Forest of Colorado Springs. As it is situated at the southern tree line and directly off Black Forest Rd, you will have easy access to the city. The cabin sits on 6.5 treed acres along with 6 other cabins.

The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances: refrigerator, oven, microwave, but unfortunately no dishwasher. A coffee machine, toaster and a variety of other amenities will indulge any cuisinier.

We love this property and would love to share it with our guests. Feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns you might have. Also introduce yourself, we love getting to know our guests!

The views of Pikes Peak and the Rocky Mountains from the front porch and other seating areas are spectacular. Take fully advantage of the BBQ grill and fire pit

Quaint cabin. Well located to Co Springs and parks. Living area and bathroom were clean, but pizza box with scraps was left in the oven, old coffee grounds left in coffee maker and no toilet paper.

Great little cabin in the woods
We enjoyed our 5 night stay in Cabin F! Had everything that we needed and more. Loved the skylight over the shower/bathtub. The kitchen was well equipped. The king-sized bed was too big for us, couldn't find each other (as we are used to a full-sized bed) LOL. Didn't see any deer on the property until right before we were leaving. Gas grill was nice to have. Didn't get a chance to use the gas firepit. Beautiful view from the cabin. Loved all the trees! Would recommend this cozy little cabin for 2.

This cozy little cabin at the edge of the Black Forest was perfect! Mornings on the porch with coffee, seeing Mule Deer, and the cabin itself is well appointed. Loved the skylight in the shower and the water pressure! Will visit again when it’s snowing ✔️👍🏼

Perfect in every way!
The cabin was exactly what I had hoped for when I booked. A place to relax, enjoy the outdoors, and still have the comfort and amenities of home. Every detail was considered from coffee to ambient lighting in the evening. The two areas to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful trees and distant Mountain View were wonderful. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen had everything anyone could need and then some. And the skylight in the bathroom was a perfect touch. I can not wait to book again, preferably in the winter this time. Thanks for a wonderful couple of days!

I thought this place was great! Nice and homey and cozy...It was very clean at first approach (the main use areas) however, as a house cleaner, my eyes do unfortunately gravitate towards the dust and there was a decent amount of dust here that can easily be remedied with a 5 to 10 minute feather dust. I wouldn't have thought much of it but the blinds were pretty bad and the windows need a good once over as they look like they haven't been touched in a while. There were a few noticeable cobwebs too that again, a quick dust would solve! Other than that this property was great and will stay again!

We love staying at properties owned by these hosts. Their properties always make us feel like we are staying with a close family member. Everything you could possibly need is right there and available. The hosts are so accommodating and have great communication. The decor is so warming and beautiful. We enjoyed the outdoor sitting space with the Forrest “feels” and Mountain View’s. The King size bed is a comfortable treat. Will be coming back to stay when traveling this area again!

As an Army family of six, we had the opportunity to travel around the world, but are thrilled to have finally settled down in Colorado Springs.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with Colorado Springs and this property 13 years ago. This particular cabin is one of seven cabins, which were built in 1925, on six and a half acres of forested land. Although we have fully renovated the 90 year old homes, their history remains largely intact.

What makes this property unique

We will do what we can to insure our guests a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
