I'm a son of one of the original Quaker families that founded Monteverde and have lived here most of my life. I love nature and sculpting some of the native hardwoods. My wife and I are now retired and are enjoying spending time working on our property, attending our guests and traveling, especially to the US to visit our grandchildren.

Why they chose this property

This is home on top of the mountain close to the Continental Divide. Our rural farm gives us privacy yet we're only 15 minutes away from the town of Santa Elena where we can shop and enjoy a more urban atmosphere.

What makes this property unique

One of the last original farms that have remained undivided. My brother continues to manage it and makes cheeses, butter, and other milk products as well as caring for his chickens, ducks and geese.
