Available by Luxury Beach Rentals, this suite on the 9th floor is oceanfront and offers spectacular views of the blue Atlantic. This condo has a large king bed and overlooks the ocean with its own private oceanfront balcony. The large bath offers a granite counter top and a large walk-in shower with tile flooring. The condo also comes equipped with microwave and mini fridge along with a flat screen TV.

The resort is located in the heart of the Grand Strand in a quite family oriented section of the beach. The Cypress Room is an award winning onsite restaurant which serves breakfast and dinner daily with lunch options available on the patio and at the pool bar during the summer months. Activities on site include the indoor and outdoor pool complex which includes a lazy river, three pools, spas, children’s splash pool, and waterfall / rock formations overlooking the beach along with a fitness center and tanning lawn.

the small time we were there, was to high price for a motel room

Myrtle at it's Best

Loved the location, the view and the hotel. Chose this hotel as a warmup before heading to the caribbean and it did not disappoint. Small enough to accommodate a short stay, but delivers quality ocean views with access to all of the hotel amenities. Would definitely come again!

I never complain but…

I would never recommend this rental. We got there at 4pm to a dirty room. We were told that it would be cleaned and ready in an hour. Someone didn’t come clean it until an hour later. We were then told at 6:20 that our room was ready so that messed up our first day. I have yet to receive the $50 cleaning fee that was supposed to be refunded. No one on the property will help because it’s 3rd party. We were aware that there wasn’t a kitchen so I can’t complain about that but with the issues we had on top of this place being the same price as nice places, I will definitely be using a different rental next time.

Nice place yet there were some hiccups.

First I would rent unit again but it would have been nice to have better understanding of being a private rental. Loved being on the 9th level and the beautiful views of the ocean. Nice and clean. Suggestions: 1) have a luggage carrier in unit for ‘private renter use’ (resort won’t allow private renters to use their luggage carriers) 2) list type of coffee maker 3) turn fridge on before renter arrives 4) I received emails from the resort and private rental company. That was confusing as far as knowing who to communicate with for what. Again, I would stay here again through the rental agency. I just would have liked better communication/understanding of being a private rental.

Weekend getaway

The resort itself was nice & the unit was priced pretty fairly for unit condition & season. However, the unit is in need of some minor repairs like paint & loose trim & there’s no shower shelf for toiletries. Also the coffee pot was not functioning properly.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When I was searching for a condo this was the only one with a walk-in shower. That's the primary reason I booked it as I have some mobility issues. I was disappointed that the shower did not have any handrails. Also, the toilet was a standard height. For bad knees it would be more ADA compliant if it were changed to a chair-height one. Overall, everything else was very satisfactory.

Buyer be warey of renting this unit!

Facility is nice, but not renting through resort denies you the perks that others get like beach towels and more than one roll of toilet paper! Unit is clean but is very small and bed is shot.

Quiet and relaxing vacation

Island Vista is a safe, clean, quiet place to stay. Beach is a few steps away with clean sand. Pools have nice area to sit during the day and night. The restaurant has great breakfast ,lunch and diner. Room was clean and the ocean view was great.

Reviewer Comments: We were to go to myrtle beach in September, with hurricane Irma possibly coming that way we were able to call and they very nicely moved our vacation to February and told us that they would email us new booking info, with all check in info. So come to beginning of Feb I started calling, no answer, no email. So we never went to myrtle beach as we didn't drive there without getting information. And of course they won't refund the money So luxury beach rental I see how you run your bussiness.

Only issue was listing indicated an umbrella with chairs on the beach reserved through the end of September for guest although the guy monitoring the umbrellas didn't have this on his list. Just decided to leave the beach and use chairs by the pool instead.

Beautiful Location - Somewhat Tired Accomodations

Reviewer Comments: I loved the location of the property, being so far from the craziness of the central part of Myrtle Beach, plus the hotel & pool was directly next to the beach, which was fantastic. The 9th floor oceanfront view was amazing as well !! The room itself was a bit tired - the comforter was stained, and the pillows & chair looked old. The bathroom had peeling paint in places & the walls had drippy stains. One thing I really didn't like was that because it was owned vs part of the hotel, there was no maid service and we had to use the same towels the whole time we were there, so just keep that in mind when renting this type of room for more than a couple of days. Also, since we flew from PA, we didn't have beach towels - if you are a guest of the hotel, they provide towels, but if you are a guest of the condo, they do not. A suggestion would be to provide maid service extra towels & beach towels, even if there would be a small extra charge for those conveniences.
