Lakefront Cottage with heated pool

This beautifully appointed cottage is located directly on Lake Bowen in the Upstate of South Carolina. There is a salt water pool, if water sports is your desire, there is a fixed dock for whatever your pleasure. The 2 large covered porches allow plenty of room for a large family or friends. Conveniently located to Tryon Equestrian Center (20 min), Greenville/Spartanburg 20-30 min, Asheville NC is 55 minutes drive.
This comfortable, inviting 4 Bedroom, 3 Bath home boasts amazing views of the shimmering waters of Lake Bowen. Sprawling over 2500 square feet on 2 levels and offering all the modern luxuries of home in a bright and airy beach vibe setting. You’ll love being able to stroll down to the lake each day and take in stunning natural beauty.
The main level features an open floor plan to the kitchen and living room leading out to a covered outdoor porch. You can gather on cold nights and enjoying radiating warmth by the gas fireplace or choose to have an open fire by the outdoor fire pit.
As the day winds to a close, spend some time downstairs in the cozy sitting area, complete with a minibar, BYOC (bring your own cocktails) where you can mix up a delicious cocktail. Or let the kids have this whole area to them selves to play games, watch movies while you enjoy one of the two outdoor covered porches.
Each of the four bedrooms offers a simple sort of luxury, with warm, snug bedding and crisp white linens to comfort you. There is one king room, two queen rooms (one with private bath), and the downstairs room has one queen and one set of twin bunk beds , perfect for kids or young adults! The downstairs room also has a pull out sofa for an extra over night guest.
During your stay, your home away from home is directly on the water, making it easy to enjoy the perks of lakeside living. On warm summer days, take advantage of your private dock and sitting area right by the water, or grab a kayak and head out on the lake to do a little exploring. If you feel like venturing away from your little slice of paradise, this region of South Carolina has a ton of amazing hikes to uncover. Downtown Spartanburg or Greenville is only less than 1/2 hour drive away, Asheville, NC is only a 55 minute drive great for a day in the city before returning to your natural oasis. If Equestrian in your thing, than drive 25 minutes to the Tryon World Equestrian Center for a World Class Show during the season and Saturday Night Lights. Unwind on your Sunday at on of the many vineyards located near. Overmountian is a must!
If you are in town visiting the seven collages in our area such as Wofford, Converse, Furman, USC Upstate, SCC, Sherman Collage or VCom this is an easy distance to all.
There is plenty of parking in the property.
Pool details:
Pool is open beginning of April through October. It is heated with solar so depending on the sun and temps will depend on the pool temp.
Boat details: we will provide you the contact once you have booked the property.
One day rental is $350 for 4 hours each additional hour is $25. If you want to rent for consecutive days: 1st day $350, 2nd $200, 3rd $100, 4th $50, 5th $25. Any Saturday or Sunday is $350 if linked with other days. Each boat holds 11 people. They are not powered for tubing. One boat is set up for fishing. At the end of the rental you pay for whatever fuel that you have used. Provided: all safety equipment, canopy, anchor, fish finder/depth gauge, blue tooth hookup, map and rules of the lake. The boat will be delivered to your dock.

Our quiet neighborhood is perfect to enjoy lake life and relaxing. Enjoy morning coffee on the very spacious porch. Guest have access to complete house with pool and lake access. During the busy season of the summer the boat dock is shared with owners other property.
