Excellent stay

There were 5 adults and a 7 month old baby. We stayed 3 nights and it was wonderful. The home was as described and even better. She had a nicely stocked pantry with spices and a few cans of basic food. Plenty of dishes and cookware. I did not see a list of things to do before leaving, like most VRBO homes have, however I stripped the beds and put sheets and all towels in the laundry area and took out the trash. It’s a wonderful home you will certainly enjoy your time here. Doris B and family

We come from small town in East Texas called Wills Point. It all started with multiple visits to Hochatown!! The mountains, fresh air and scenery was what we fell in love with the most, and the people. After a year and several months we decided to look into purchasing something of our own and this is when we visited Bigfoot Bluff!! It was exactly what we had been looking for and fell in love with the place. It's so peaceful, quiet and secluded. The view is AMAZING! The experience of everything is something we want to share with others. You will not be disappointed and will want to come back as soon as you can.

Why they chose this property

Bigfoot Bluff is on what I call a private road. There are other homes, but you are so far away that you still have privacy and the only the critters will be seen or heard.

What makes this property unique

Bigfoot Bluff Cabin is located in Kiamichi Mountains. A luxurious hilltop cabin nestled in the heart of Honobia, famed as the home of Bigfoot and host of the annual Bigfoot Festival. Perched majestically atop the hills just beyond the Talihina mountain range, our cabin offers a gateway to the breathtaking beauty of the Talimena Scenic Drive and the expansive expanse of the Quachita National Forest.

Indulge in the splendor of Bigfoot Bluff, and abode that caters to those seeking a romantic haven for honeymoons, anniversaries, or rejuvenating weekly getaways. Whether it's intimate couple's retreat or a cozy escape for a small family, our cabin graciously accommodates with a lavish king bed and two inviting double beds.

Step onto the capacious southern-facing porch and be captivated by an unparallel view of the majestic Kiamichi Mountains and sunsets that redefine the word "spectacular". As the sun dips behind the mountains, the patio unveils a tranquil vista that epitomizes the serenity of nature, far removed from the urban bustle, inside, an open-concept living area awaits, adorned with an oversized couch, a captivating entertainment unit, and a flat screen TV-HD smart TV. (DISH) included. The kitchen, a testament to luxury living, boast granite countertops and stainless-steel appliances. Fully equipped with a Keurig coffee maker, cookware, dishes, utensils, and linens, this kitchen is primed for culinary adventures.

Slumber like royalty in the elegantly appointed bedrooms. The master suite features and grand king-size posted bed draped in opulent linens, promising nights of unparalleled comfort. An additional bedroom beckons with two cozy double beds, perfect for cherished family members.

The firepit, encircled by inviting Adirondack chairs, beckons for gathering under the starry night sky. Roast marshmallows and savor the tranquil melodies of the mountains as night falls. The pristine darkness of this mountainside sanctuary is stargazing.
