One bedroom oceanfront condo on the third floor. Sleeps four comfortably. Private balcony with ocean views and two rocking chairs. Fully equipped kitchen with updated counter tops and custom cabinetry. TV available in living room and bedroom. Laminate flooring throughout living area with carpet in the bedroom! Access to beach/fishing pier/community pool/complex laundry facilities. Sea Cabin Community Wireless Internet available at no charge. 490 square feet. Linens included. This is a non- smoking unit. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Not as great unit as all the others we stayed before! TVs, No mirrors, no ice and refrigerator leaked! Sofa chair was wobbly but had a great view with nice rocking chairs! They did have a portable ice machine so that told us that they were aware of the bad refrigerator!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Where to start...this condo needs a complete overhaul. The bed, couch and recliner are in very bad condition. The bed feels like giant bean bag, I know we are in the low country but the recliner and couch don't need to be. When you sit on the couch you sink and its an experience trying to get off it. The recliner in broken. The floor gives and has different patched together floor panels. Also, it's 2024, is this the only unit that doesn't have a keurig? We have rented condo's numerous times with island reality and all other rentals are fantastic. Condo 317A needs some care to be worth the rental cost.

Very Disappointed

The view of the ocean is gorgeous but the we had to cut our vacation short due to unforeseen circumstances and have yet to hear back from the realty company that manages this property. Very disappointed in the whole vaca!!!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Sea Cabin 317A needs a lot of TLC. It was not our best experience. The owner needs to make some serious updates. The couch is very uncomfortable, and the metal pieces sticking out from the bed are very inconvenient, not to mention painful. Furthermore, how about adding some curtains in the bedroom to prevent the outside light from shining through the blinds? A comforter on the bed would also be nice, as well as lamps that don’t fall apart when used. We don’t recommend this Sea Cabin. We’ve been in other cabins that are more comfortable and visually appealing than 317A. Island Realty is great, but this cabin is in desperate need of some updates.

The only issues we had were with the TV in the main bedroom, which kept turning off with a loud popping sound every now and then. The bed frame had a long piece of metal jutting out I kept banging my foot on. Everything else worked great, couch was super comfortable and you can't beat the view!

317 could use a little work

Reviewer Comments: We always enjoy our stays at Sea Cabin and understand these are beach properties, not the Waldorf Astoria. 317 had a few issues which should be addressed. The bedroom light switch is taped so it's unusable, we did not have a towel rack on the wall (in process of being installed while there), bathtub does not drain well, the fire alarm went off intermittently for about 10 seconds during 4 days when inside, and on a few occasions we could detect a sewage odor in the hallway, though it would not last, thankfully. Overall, it's what we expected from beach properties and we enjoyed our stay, but 317 has a few issues which should be addressed.

The mattress was ok. I could not get the dvd player to work, but we didn't need it anyway. On the second day it was very hot outside and there was a horrible smell when we came in the door. But I didn't notice it on other days. The stairs are killer. I will stay at seacabins again, but not the third floor or this unit.

Great Location!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were able to book with Island Realty last minute after our original accusations fell through. We book this trip on our day of arrival. It was a quick and seamless process. The Sea Cabin 317-A is on the 3rd floor, Ocean front. It is the perfect location, however the steps can be a problem for those with health issues, as there is no elevator. We had no problems with this. The cabin itself was clean. The furnishings were very typical, and appropriate for an oceanfront efficiency. The cabin is one bedroom, with a sofa bed, and the two small bunks in the hallway (which we did not use, and linens are not provided for these bunks). All appliances worked, and the kitchen was furnished with the necessities for the time we spent there. We have no complainants with the unit. The pool are was nice, and not terribly crowded the time we were there. The pool, and beach access were steps from our unit. We could see both from our balcony. We would most likely stay in this unit again.

It is tired and shabby, in need of re-painting and renovation. Don't the owners care about this unit? We even had to dislodge a gross clump from the bathroom sink drain so that the water would't pool in the sink. We would highly recommend Sea Cabin, but not this unit.

No lip on the counter top, so couldn't reach, nowhere to eat, and we cooked most of our meals there. No sun on beautiful balcony most of the day. Great shower head. Grungy inside cabin. Needs updating. Only thing keeps one's seat from hitting floor on sofa is the sofa bed. Nice fridge & stove. Awful carpeting & TV in bedroom. Poorly set up for 6 weeks of use, okay if only there a few days. Uncomfortable mattress. View is fantastic. Couldn't be better. Island Realty people were kind. Put one request in when arrived, still waiting for an answer and we are home. Not their fault. Owner never responded.
