South Holston Retreat

Family lakehouse for the past 25 years just recently open to the public. Approximately 5 acre situated on secluded south holston lake in east tennessee. Includes approximately 300 ft of lake frontage. One of three local man made TVA lakes. South holston by far the prettiest and the cleanest you can see in the photos. South Holston mountain is one of the highest within tenn. The american bald eagle and osprey you will see here (so keep your little dogs off the top deck, ha). You can enjoy the lake, sky is the limit. Boating, fishing, swimming, canoe, kayak, paddle boarding, camping, etc. There are pontoon boat and jet ski rentals at most of the marinas that would be perfect for the dock. Other possible activities include hiking, biking, ATV, bristol race, rythem and roots festival. Also, one of the most premier trout fishing is below the dam in south holston tailwaters. Brad Pitt is rumored to have have a cabin here and fishes like the movie a river runs through it. People come from all over to see the size of those rainbow and brown trout. The lake has plenty of good fishing too. The lakehouse is really nice and clean. Recently painted inside and out, decks included. It has plenty of space inside and out to enjoy with family and friends. This lakehouse is located at friendship resort and marina right down the street. There are not many homes on this lake, most is forest land or agricultural which makes it so private and secluded. It also keeps the lake clean. It is private and there wont be any neighbors to bother you or on top of you. There is a rope swing directly accross from the dock in which has been there for years and the kids use it carefully. Lake access is year round it drains down in the winter and full pond in the summer. Access the lake from the stairs or an access road in which has some grade to it. There is a UTV in the garage might be able to use on a case by case basis. The lakehouse is HC accessable garage and first floor bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living area. Thanks for looking.
