Downtown Palm Springs is a 2.6 mile drive from our Sunview Paradise. The home is located in the neighborhood Desert Highland Gateway Estates in Palm Springs, California.

The area is known for its scenic desert landscapes and its proximity to Palm Springs' downtown area, offering residents easy access to shopping, dining, and entertainment venues. It is part of the larger Coachella Valley area, which is known for its golf courses, hot springs, and outdoor recreational opportunities, including hiking and horseback riding.

The neighborhood is going through redevelopment and retains a culturally diverse community today. Our neighbors are all very friendly

Guests have several options to get around:

1. Car Rentals: Renting a car is often the most convenient way to get around Palm Springs, especially for visiting places outside of the city like Joshua Tree National Park or other parts of Coachella Valley.
2. Rideshares/Taxis: Companies like Uber and Lyft operate in Palm Springs, as do traditional taxi services. These are useful for quick trips around town if you prefer not to drive.
3. Bicycles: Palm Springs is a bike-friendly city with many designated bike lanes and routes. You can rent a bike to explore the city at your own pace.
4. Public Transportation: The SunLine Transit Agency operates the public bus service in Palm Springs, with routes connecting various parts of the city. However, buses might not be as convenient for some tourists due to limited hours and frequency.
5. Walking: If you're staying downtown, many attractions, restaurants, and shops are within walking distance. Walking can be pleasant during the cooler months, but remember that Palm Springs can get very hot, especially in the summer.

Pet friendly
• We are pet friendly at a fee of $75 per pet
** We just ask that you take your dog with you if you go out or keep it in a create- as all the furniture is brand new and we’d hate for it to get ruined

Pool heater
• The pool requires a lot of natural gas to heat, so using this will incur a daily fee of $100. This will be billed prior to your arrival if you request it.
• Our pool cleaner comes every Tuesday and Friday; he comes and go through the side gate and will not worry you throughout your stay.

Desert living
This home and many homes in Palm Springs are located in the desert, sand is around, sand flys when windy. When windy the pool does catch some sand. Our pool cleaners always try their best to clean the sand, but in some cases sand my be in the pool
