On hot summer days, take a dip in the refreshing swimming pool. The pool area has a 6 foot lighted fence so you can work on your tan, lounge on a float, or just let the kids play. During the evening, relax in the hot tub. Our hot tub is on a timer, so grab a book and chill; summer hot tub hours: 7:00pm – 12:00am/ off season hours: 4:00pm – 10:00pm. The beach is across the street! You will love surfing the waves, playing in the sand, searching for seashells, or just relaxing at the beach.

The fishing pier is just a short walk down the beach. Enjoy a walk on the pier, go fishing, or have lunch while enjoying fantastic views! Take a short drive to Main Street to enjoy local shopping, nightlife, and carnival rides in the summer. The Grand Strand has over 100 area golf courses, play a round of golf. Rising Tide is fun for all ages.

Pool is closed from Dec. 1st through Feb. 28th.
Golf Carts, trailers and motorcycles are welcome!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: What a fantastic vacation! The pool is awesome, the hot tub even better. My 2 year old loved using the hot tub as his own pool during the day when it was normal temps. The walk to the beach was SO fast. It’s literally right there. The front deck is huge and was used every morning for coffee and night (lots of entertainment to see on that street lol) Some things to note- we brought a canopy for the pool area because there’s really no shade back there. The house is on a Main Street that is pretty busy all day long. The house is older so some things don’t work as they once did. However with all that said it was amazing!! Will definitely rent again. Communication was great with the owners. The house was clean when we arrived. Highly recommend.

A GREAT PLACE FOR A FAMILIY VACATION

Overall good experience great lay out for 8 guys playing golf each having own bed room. A few more pots and pans would have been good. Hot tub heating was a little funky as it cooled down one night before midnight. No real complaints thanks

The location and proximity to the beach was great, but the house itself was very disappointing. Despite confirmation that the cleaning service had been there, the house was not clean. Thick layer of dirt and dust on all air vents and interior window blinds, baseboards were grimy throughout the house, especially in the bathrooms. During the rainy day, water leaked into the house through the outlets and light switch receptacles. Also noted loose boards on the stairs to the pool, rusted and several missing brackets under the front deck. I question the safety of the house in general.

Nice quaint home, but too expensive for the issues

From my unanswered email to Southern Coast Vacations: When we arrived, we found the upstairs dishwasher full of dirty dishes and rags. We ran it, which was fine, and the manager offered to reimburse us for the extra dish soap. The utensile drawers were filthy, I cleaned those myself immediately so we could make dinner. The floors were not mopped and/or the rugs need a deep cleaning. The sand was vacuumed up, but our feet turned black from grime. Now that I reviewed my original charges, this home was NOT $XXX "clean", especially given the amount of cleaning we did before departure. The hot tub never worked correctly. We picked this home specifically because it had one. I understand putting it on a night time 7-12 schedule to save energy, but that should be advertised ahead of time. Thankfully we were able to get the hours shifted from 5 to 10pm so our younger kids could enjoy it, but even then it still did not maintain heat. It would run up to 102ﾟ then cool back down to the high eighties before it would turn on again. This was a "warm tub" at best most of the time. I eventually gave up calling about it because it was a waste of time. The upstairs kitchen sink is not sealed with caulk into the countertop. If water splashes along the inner top edge it runs down inside the cabinet. The downstairs refrigerator has no door shelf guards to hold the food into place. The downstairs toilet on the street side is barely connected to the floor. When I spend a lot of $ on a rustic home, it should be pretty close to perfect. None of these were showstoppers, and we had a wonderful family spring break in this home but it was not deserving of the price tag and cleaning fee.

4th Annual Girl's Beach Trip

You must go to the beach and watch the sunrises and sunsets to experience God's beauty. They're breathtaking.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This place needs a good cleaning. We were on the phone daily with Southern Coast about issues. Hot tub only worked 2 nights out of the seven. Multiple problems with the internet - someone finally came out and fixed it on day 3. Dirty dishes left in the dishwasher, floors was dirty and litter underneath the bed and dressers. Making bacon and the smoke alarm went off. We opened a window and the window fell out. Dishes has multiple chips in them. Multiple other items was wrong and will be sending the list to Southern Coast. I did talk to someone who k own the owner and he stayed that the owner would be pretty upset if he knew these things!
