Disappointed and will not return

The property manager was very unhelpful.
The vacation rental was somewhat dirty.
I was more than happy with the location.
I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental.

The mold/mildew smell was overwhelming, especially in the closets. This was an old building with a very smelly basement that someone tried to rehab without knowing what they were doing. (The vinyl plank flooring was new and was coming up in the entry because the floors are very uneven. There was an open tube of epoxy in a kitchen drawer, a drawer in the bedroom stuffed full of hardware for bed assembly, missing wand for the new living room blinds, sawdust in the shelves, etc, etc.) The staff did not respond to our text message upon arrival. We had to drive over to the office an hour after arrival to tell them that the door to the next unit behind ours was standing wide open (no guests) and that there was no way to lock the basement door from inside the unit. We did not feel safe. This was a huge disappointment.
