About this property

Welcome to our home away from home at the Maui Vista Resort. Come and enjoy the warm sun, relax and have some fun in an incredible nice condo!

Ours is building #1 (closest to the beach) and being on the top floor we have a nice view of the ocean too. The famous Charley Young/Kamaole beach is just steps away.

Inside you'll find a remodeled kitchen with custom cabinets, granite countertops, and stainless steel appliances. Flooring consists of tiles and luxury vinyl plank (LVP) to keep it tidy and cool. Our condo also has a high vaulted ceiling for an open feel.

Resort amenities: elevators, easy beach access, 6 tennis court, 3 swimming pools, 3 BBQ areas, and 10 acres of tropical gardens.

Maui Vista is centrally located in Kihei. We're walking distance of many shops/restaurants while an on-site activities desk helps booking your Maui excursions. We have never been approached by timeshare salespeople during our stay.

Nice stay

Overall it was lovely, beds were comfy. Main bedroom was stuffy, the fan didn’t work but there was a portable air conditioner, too loud and waste of electricity to run all night though. Tv had issues I found a broken hdmi cable. It was well equipped with beach chairs etc which was great.

A beautiful condo with a great Kihei location!

We loved the location, as it is very close to many fun things to do, and especially close to the beach! The view from the lanai is beautiful, and the condo was well maintained. The walk to the beach everyday was short. One small item - in the photos an cooler is shown, but there was no cooler in the unit. We ended up buying one, so not a huge problem. Great place for family vacation

The place is clean and well equipped. It has a nice view of the ocean and is located perfectly between several beaches, restaurants and shops. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to others.

It was a wonderful time. It was my spouse and 2 18 year old daughters. We had plenty of space for all of us. Condo had everything we needed. The grounds were kept up beautifully. If looking for a large pool, the pool was on the smaller side. We would stay again.

Amazing owner to deal with

Lily is amazing to deal with, I highly recommend booking with her unit! The unit is clean and somewhat updated, top bathroom is quite tight and not updated but lower one is great! The kitchen is FULLY stocked with lots of cooking utensils and the beach equipment is in abundance. Again, I can’t say enough about this owner. After cancelling because of Covid twice, she was a dream to deal with. Highly recommend!!

Beautiful views and great location!

Perfect Kihei location for walking to shops and restaurants. To top it off, the beach is just across the street! Upon arrival, the vacation home was clean with everything we needed, including plenty of beach chairs, boogie boards, cooler, and beach towels. We enjoyed sitting on the lanai in the evening to take in the gorgeous sunsets. Plus every Sunday and Wednesday evening the electric bike parade would go by! Thanks Lily and Than for being wonderful hosts!

We loved where this was at. The cleanliness of the apartment as we checked and left a little to be desired. It is in a great neighborhood, and is across the street from a fantastic beach.

The location is excellent, with easy access to the beach, walking distance to many restaurants, and souvenir shopping. With the second bedroom being in a loft, there is a lack of privacy that should be considered in renting the unit.

Old Home Week

It was good to be back in Maui again after living and working here during the 90’s. Sunset views and beach access was great, so the proximity to Kam II & III was just right. Love that the aloha spirit is still alive and well.

Great location for my family, needs better cleaning!

The location is great - Kihei was central for everything we wanted to do. Amazing beaches just minutes away, by foot or car. We ended up driving to a beach we loved several times, also to have more space. Lots of food options close by as well as grocery stores. The unit is a good size. Not a lot of common space and not enough seating for a family of 4 to sit around together. The kitchen is quite compact and minimally equipped. No baking sheet, for example. The layout works, though, with two twins upstairs. The kids found the shower upstairs to be awkward, so they showered downstairs. The reasons this unit gets four stars are two fold. 1. it just wasn't clean. I was willing to wipe down countertops and surfaces, but the floor was seriously gross. We are a shoes off family and couldn't do it - we wore slippers/flip flops or socks inside. The socks were black on the bottom after minimal time inside. This is not the first review to say it isn't clean. Whoever is cleaning needs to actually clean the floor. Get a steam mop or something! Second, the air flow isn't great, which makes any benefit from trade winds pretty minimal. We ended up running air more than we wanted, and frankly the unit in the bedroom was not very effective, even with the door closed, for the amount of noise it generated. We would have happily kept windows and doors open with fans on had there been a hint of a breeze. As there wasn't, there wasn't much of a choice.

The property was a nice condo in a good location for Kihei. The grounds were well kept. The condo is in need of some updating and the master bed is falling apart. The AC units are dated and the expectation to keep them off is unrealistic. The other units booked for our event had newer AC units and no signage about keeping them off. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would still recommend the unit and Maui Vista location.

Awesome space, location, and clean, we hope to stay here again with our grandkids.

You will love the view at sunset and it's 2 minutes across the street to an amazing beach. My grandkids ages 20-22, loved the freedom to walk to restaurants, shops, beaches and explore on their own time. The owners went above and beyond helping us finding my husband's new sound reduction headphones he had gotten for christmas just for this trip. We left them in the condo not even realizing that we had packed them and taken them with us. Lily emailed me and told me that the cleaning lady had found them and that she was UPSing them to us at no extra charge, that's what I call character. Thank you Lily. Great condo and even better owners.

This condo is perfectly situated for beach access. the kitchen is well equipped. But we were the first guests since the March shutdown. We immediately encountered sand covering the floor. There was a thick layer of black grit covering the inside sills and screens at windows. The grit covered all surfaces, including the kitchen counter, all tables, all dressers. The bedspreads had sandy grit on them. The air conditioners, which worked really well were covered in a thick black dusty gritty dirt. I had to clean surfaces just so we could put our stuff down. We found the condition of the condo to be disgusting. I immediately contacted the local person listed as a contact.and told him of the filth we encountered. He swore he had cleaned the place prior to our arrival. This was obviously not accurate. I contacted the owners. They apologized and wanted us to allow the cleaner to come in and clean. This was the day after we arrived. They wanted to send the person who should have cleaned the place prior to our arrival. I refused to have him in the condo. This would mean we would have to vacate the place for the day. for us, that was a huge inconvenience. By this time, I had spent hours cleaning the condo. the condiments left in the refrigerator were all past dated. The owners had not arranged for any upkeep during the shutdown. If we had not encountered the filth we did, the condo is ok. The overall condition is shabby, dated. A smart tv would be a good addition. The location of the condo cannot be beat.

Missing Kihei Already

Stayed at this Maui Vista condo for the first time with my wife and two young kids. The location is fantastic, very walk-able to everything and an amazing beach right across the street. Views from the lanai are great and not much can beat the sunsets on Maui. The condo is well equipped and provides a good assortment of beach stuff. If you are looking to stay in Kihei this condo is well worth the stay.

Maui May 2019

Just got back from Maui. The condo was perfect for 5. Well equipped and great location to the beach. It was nice being able to sit on the lanai for breakfast and see the ocean. As well watching the sunset from there if not wanting to walk to the beach. The grounds were nice taken care of, had 3 pools and bbq areas. It was nice having a key pad for entry so we didn't have to carry extra keys. Great neighborhood and walking distance to shopping and food. Being able to call Canada for free was a bonus. Being record highs during the week, it felt like the air conditioning wasn't cooling enough unless sitting in front of it. The only real suggestion is sharing up to 4 people due to the space, but having the space for 6 also a benefit if you don't mind being a little cramped. I will defiantly come back and stay here again.

Our condo is in building #1 (closest to the beach) and is on the top floor (ocean view). We are across the street from Charley Young/Kamaole Beach Park.

One of our favorite past times is upgrading our condo. Over the years we have renovated every room in the unit and continue to do so for our comforts and our guests.

The condo feels spacious because of the high vaulted ceiling. We have WiFi internet access and free long distance calls to US mainland and Canada.

We're within walking distance of beach activities, nice restaurants and shopping.
