Make yourself at home in this spacious apartment with everything the region has to offer in a very short walking distance.
Vitznau boat station for a wonderful cruise on the lake or city-trip to Luzern, Kürpark for swimming or Stand-Up Paddle in the lake, and the starting point for the cogwheel train to Rigi are all in a 2 minute walk.
There is also a mini-market and multiple restaurants (from Bistro to 2 Michelin stars) in a similar short walking distance.
The modern decorated duplex apartment itself features :
- On the first floor a large living area with fireplace, fully equipped open kitchen, guest bathroom with toilet and terrace with grill
- On the second floor: a Sauna (ideal after a winter hike), a large modern fully equipped bathroom with bathtub, rain-shower and double sink and three bedrooms, one of them with a crib and one of them with a working area. The beds in the 2 master bedrooms are kingsize and can be separated on request. The bed in the third room is a double bed.
Amenities (eg towels, bed linen, shampoo, wifi, Amazon Prime, Disney+...) are included and there are 2 free parking spaces on the property should you come by car.

Hi, I am Magdalena born in Poland but studied in France and worked in the USA, Switzerland and Brazil before ending up in Switzerland again in 2015. Switzerland is also where I met my husband Jeroen (originally from Belgium) and we moved to this region of Switzerland in 2020. We lived in the house ourselves as well and still live close by in the next village.
Why they chose this property
The number 1 attraction of this part of Switzerland is that it is incredibly beautiful having both a lake (which is perfectly safe to swim in) and then Rigi ('The queen of the mountains) with a sheer endless amount of hiking options.
Additionally you can reach Luzern in the most convenient and scenic way.. ie by taking a boat trip over the lake and the village itself (and the one next to it) offer both the charm and calm of being relatively small Swiss villages but are quite touristic as well so there are many (very good) restaurants in walking distance for instance.
Overall what we enjoy the most is living where other people go for holidays :)

What makes this property unique
First I would say the location. It is easily accessible and really very close to everything. The lake, the cogwheel train, the ship station, public transport. So whether you want to go for a hike in the mountains, a swim or walk by the lake, a nice dinner in a restaurant, basic grocery shopping or a trip to Luzern if the weather is horrible... everything is very easily reachable.
Second probably the size. It is quite large so even if you just want to enjoy a day in the house everyone has enough space and everyone has proper sleeping places without anyone having to crash on the couch.
Third is that it is quite modernly decorated, there is a Sauna and Fireplace (perfect for winter evenings) and as I personally designed the bathrooms (which were completely redone recently) I think they are a big highlight as well.
