Kildare Landing Condo

Great place and location. Included golf was excellent. Hard to just go for a walk from the property as it was a busy road but in town for walk wasn’t far to drive. Baddeck had everything you needed and the whole Cabot Trail was there to explore as well. Unfortunate that we had Hurricane Lee come through and the weather was not stellar but made the most of it and it could have been much worse if we were in the direct Hurricane path.

A golf get away

Perfect accommodations, very clean, the host was excellent to deal with, great golfing, well-maintained, golf course and property, before we arrived we were informed about the oven not working, and they brought a new one within a couple hours after we arrived, Hoping to be back again next year. Thank you very much.

Beautiful lake views

Large bedrooms with very comfy beds, on suits were great 2 four piece and one two piece more then adequate. T.V’s in all the rooms with great selection. Internet was not great hard to have more then one user on at a time. Outdoor Patio set was great and did use a lot but it could use cushions. BBQ was excellent very clean. Kitchen could have been stocked better no spices! We did loose power one night could not find the emergency kit you have listed in booklet, flashlight we did find batteries were dead. We did manage to find a couple of candles in the back of one of the cupboards. Your not overlooking the golf course you must drive but it is only 5 minutes away. There is no pool on premises or workout room all was at the check in resort about 10 minute drive from your cottage. Very close to Cabot trail and two very good restaurants Freight Shed and Bell Bouy Bistro. We did have a fantastic stay…but somewhat miss leading overall.

Excellent location, layout and comfort

We really enjoyed our stay! The only minor blip was that we did not know check-in procedures at the time (go to the Inverary Resort front desk), but it worked out fine. We loved the space, views, private access to the lake beach, location to town and golf. It was a perfect vacation spot for our family of four. Very comfortable and we were sad to leave!

Cape Breton escape

Great golf getaway

Great facility for 3 couples. Enjoyed the golf at Bell Bay. Also was close enough for a day trip to play Cabot Cliffs. Good kitchen and BBQ to cook for ourselves.

The perfect location for golfers. Walk up the trail to the golf club.

Absolutely beautiful view of the Bra’s d’Or lake. Close to everything, lots of yard for kids to play at.

Baddeck stay was lovely

Beautiful vacation home on a hill overlooking Baddeck Bay. The home is one of 8 that forms the estate and backs on the Bell Bay golf course. The east facing deck receives morning sun rises and early afternoon sunshine. The home is approximately 2 KM from the heart of Baddeck where there are restaurants, grocery, pharmacy etc. The home was very clean, new and nicely decorated. The widow's peak provided a private room for playing games or reading in peace. We did experience a couple of annoyances - internet issues that were fixed day 4, and a dishwasher that needed service because it wasn't draining. That said, the home was very nice and we were pleased with our stay.

Main camp

We decided to stay in Baddeck for our main camp fir 4 nights. The place was great. Only issue was no wifi. Response wasnt great. Someone came over the first day. After many requests, we did not have any wifi for the entire 4 days. As a base I would not stay in Baddeck for more than 2 days. Not that much to do in the area.

Golf included was awesome!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at condo and stay in Baddeck. The owner was very responsive when we needed some things. Connection to Bell Bay Golf course with golf included was a huge bonus for us. Loved the course and staff there were very accommodating. Kitchen in need of some new frying pans but otherwise a well equipped unit. Thanks Tyson for quick response when needed.

A great house in Baddeck

We started off with a minor hitch, but the owner and property manager quickly resolved the issue and the rest of our week was perfect. The house is clean, bright and airy with views of Bras d’Ors Lake and a very walkable mile to the town of Baddeck. I’d rent here again in a NY minute.

Beautiful condo, had everything we needed. Updated and comfortable, was a little disappointed that there was no where near to access the water, the pictures we seen made it look like the water was on the same property. But we would definitely stay there again!

Home as promised and Bell Bay golf play was a real treat. No a/c and it was hot

Units fans didn’t deliver and without air conditioning it was HOT and never cooled down during my this year’s summer heat and ave. Not good if above 23 Celsius. Otherwis a wonderful unit.

Clean, spacious and luxurious!

My wife and I stayed with another couple and we had all the space and amenities required for a few nights. This home is also conveniently located for us to visit all the local attractions and trails. This is one of those rentals where you walk in and automatically start high fiving each other for booking such a great place!

Mostly great!

The home is lovely and functional with 3 bedrooms. The loft with a pull out was very uncomfortable. We did not try the pull out in the living room. It was a hot weekend and if air con not possible, then fans would be a welcome addition. (The ceiling fans helped but didn't crank up very high.). The home is well equipped with everything you could need for cooking or hosting. When the weather is fine, the outside living space is also great. Rhonda and the Inverary folks were great. The unlimited golf for four people makes for great value. We would definitely go back.

Tyson grew up a half hour from the property in the Margaree Valley, Nova Scotia. Cindy grew up in Moncton, New Brunswick and we met in Baddeck while Cindy was on a girls golf trip. We were married in 2006 and have since had two boys, Cody and Luke. We currently reside in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

Why they chose this property

We have ties to Cape Breton and purchased this property to always have a piece of the Island in our lifes and for our boys to enjoy as time passes on.
