Beautiful home on Lake Barkley. Our custom-built house has a completely finished and immaculate basement apartment with a patio that looks out on the lake. The apartment has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths with its own private entrance. Each bedroom has a queen size bed. The professionally decorated living room and kitchenette have a fireplace and t.v. that will ensure you are comfortable. We look forward to accommodating all your vacation needs.

Lovin lake life

The accommodations were awesome. There was a well stocked kitchen and plenty of towels. The view was great. And the connivence of the covered dock was a plus. We definitely will be staying again. There was also warm homemade cookies and a bottle of wine waiting for us at our arrival.

Lake Barkley Get Away

The property is right on the lake, has beautiful views and has a dock for guest use. Phyllis was awesome. She communicated with us before the stay and provided us with a recommendation to rent a boat. Upon arrival, she greeted us, helped us with our bags and showed us around the property. Our adult sons loved the cake that was provided as an arrival gift along with a bottle of wine. The house and the property are very clean and well kept. This is as advertised. We had an awesome time.

End of Summer Lake Trip

We loved everything about this property. The decor, amenities, cleanliness, size, view of the lake and boat dock were all perfect for our vacation before the kids head back to college. Phylis was amazing and went above and beyond to make our stay great! We’ll definitely be back if we’re in the area again.

Relaxing Getaway

A delightful, cozy unit on a lake with an equally delightful home owner. My husband and I are from Chicagoland and my son and his partner are from Tennessee; this was an ideal location for a doable road-trip for all of us. While not walking distance to any attractions or restaurants, it was easy to get to several places of interest, including Land Between the Lakes. I hope our travels bring us back someday.

Perfect Place!

We loved this place! It is in a perfect location on a nice cove with a covered boat dock. Phyllis is a wonderful hostess and very accessible and accommodating and friendly. Her place is extremely clean and beautifully decorated! We would definitely come back if we visit the lake again.

Lake Trip

Perfect location for a short getaway to the lake. Phyllis was wonderful to work with and answered any questions promptly. Unit was exceptionally clean and very well stocked with anything we needed. She even had baked fresh brownies when we arrived.

Wonderful Hospitality

We really enjoyed our stay in this property. I was concerned about our kids being too loud for the owners (who live upstairs), but we never heard any complaints. The owner brought us vegetables from a friend's garden and checked in on us from time to time. Very good owners and a great place to stay. The dock is nice too.

Great place on the lake!

I took my three teenage daughters and their friends to stay here for four nights. The property is amazing and Phyllis is a wonderful hostess! We rented a boat for 3 days from Hu-B's and parked it every night at the covered dock! We will definitely be back!

Great spot for family lake vacation!

What a great location for a family of four!! Our daughters each had their own room and the entire space was just perfect. Phyllis was fantastic answering questions before we arrived, and was so nice throughout our stay. Our kids fell in love with her 2 dogs and her chickens!! Living in the city, they had never been around a chicken coop. By the end of our stay they had named all the chickens! I was so worried Phyllis would hear them talking and laughing from upstairs, but she assured us she couldn’t! I had a minor panic when I realized the space didn’t have a washer/dryer (completely overlooked that when I booked!!) But it turned out to not be a problem at all. We spent so much time on the lake, we hardly used our other clothes! Speaking of the lake — the location is great!! We rented a pontoon from Hu-B’s. Really nice boat, and we were able to keep it at Phyllis’s dock during our stay. We tubed every day and hardly saw any other boats during the weekdays. Water depth was great, no concerns about shallow areas. We would love to come back here! It was lovely little spot for a family vacation.

Wonderful time! Beautiful place!

We loved our time at Phyllis and Bob's beautiful home! It was so nice to have a boat slip right there. We dock at Kuttawa so it was just a short drive. It was nice for some to stay back and some to boat! Phyllis answered all of our questions and was even nice enough to lend us a pull behind float for the kids to enjoy. We cannot wait to go back!

Amazing, Close place to stay in Eddyville!

Phyllis was amazing. She had everything ready for us and even loaded up her side by side (ATV) with our luggage to drive around to the property. She was helpful and we enjoyed interacting with her all weekend. We rented a boat from Hu-B's up in Kuttawa but were able to dock it at the dock at the house. Probably one of our most favorite trips to the lake! Will be staying here again.

Beautiful Lakeside Retreat

Phyllis was an excellent hostess! Our daughters loved the dogs (Anna and Mikey)! Our visit was great from the time we arrived until the end of our trip. Phyllis even greeted us with the ATV to assist us with our luggage. We were given some great restaurant recommendations. Picturesque view of the lake. Definitely will come back.

Awesome!

We truly enjoyed staying at Phyllis and Bob’s property. The property is very clean and comfortable. Phyllis was extremely personable and helpful with tips for the area. We decided to just chill one day and my son and I fished from the boat dock located on the property. We caught bluegill, catfish, and shad. We would definitely consider this property again. Great hospitality!

We built this Waterfront property in 2011 and moved here from Houston, TX. My husband is retired from the US Navy and Medical Sales business. I am a 30-year retired flight attendant from Continental Airlines. We have three daughters, 9 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. We live in the upper part of our home year round with our two rescue dogs Anna and Mikie.

This property has a gentle slope to a stunning view of Lake Barkley. The basement apartment has private entrance , covered porch with gas grill, 3 bedrooms with queen size beds, 2 full baths, fully equipped kitchen and living room with gas fireplace. There is also a studio that will sleep 2 extra people with an additional $25.00 per night fee.(the fee will be paid in cash when you arrive)

This apartment offers a quiet and peaceful waterfront setting with a gentle slope to the lake, a large yard, and a covered boat dock. You will have plenty to do with boating, fishing, swimming, and other water activities, as well as a local water park and a city pool just a few miles down the road, making the property perfect for a vacation at the lake!
