About this property
Modern Tahoma A-Frame
Newly renovated throughout with brand new hot tub! Log Cabin style living that is a great base for your family/friend get-togethers. 2-blocks to the Lake/beach. Near Homewood skiing, bike and hiking trails. 30 night minimum stay.
The space
This roomy-open floorplan, 2-story log cabin was newly constructed in 2009 in a quiet wooded neighborhood. The entire interior was newly appointed in Nov/Dec 2014 with a new kitchen, central heating, a new master bathroom and furnishings.
The cabin has a rustic and authentic mountain cabin feel to it. You are surrounded by huge pine logs, an open 2nd floor loft and pine paneling throughout.
We recently added a large deck in the back yard with a hot tub large enough for up to 6 adults.
4 roomy bedrooms (2 upstairs, 2 downstairs) give you plenty of room to relax. There are 3 bathrooms, each with a shower, to accomodate your group, 2 are downstairs, 1 is upstairs. Two bedrooms have CalKing beds, one has a queen size bed, and the fourth bedroom has a bunk bed with a full size bed on the bottom and twin on top. We provide all bath towels and sheets and blankets.
There are two roomy gathering areas for games and meals:
Downstairs, a great-room living area has comfortable leather seating for 10, with cable TV. Also, an open kitchen features an island with seating next to a huge dining table with 8 comfortable chairs. The kitchen has an electric oven/stovetop, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator/freezer with ice-maker and water in the door. A coffee maker, toaster, crock pot, plenty of wine glasses, plenty of serving platters/bowls.
Upstairs we have a second television with cable, couch, and reading area. French doors lead to an upper deck.
Parking in front for 2-3 cars. In the Spring/Summer months there is plenty of street parking.
There is a spacious backyard. A propane barbeque grill is available and a large fire table with chairs for enjoying cool evenings.
