About this property
15min to Dwntwn Greenville/35min to Clemson-"The Artist Haven"
We are only 15min from Downtown Greenville, 35min from Clemson, & 1 1/2 hrs from Asheville, with quick access to SC85. Are you visiting with family, a bridal party, friends, or coworkers? Are you here for Clemson football or a fishing tournament?
This airy, comfortable house has so much to enjoy. The grounds are beautiful, with a wooded backyard and big deck for outdoor dining. Play pool, foosball, arcade games, or badminton. There are books, magazines & games, too. There is a gravel driveway extension for parking boats or trailers/small RV's. The wooded backyard is a kid's paradise.
It is beautiful and peaceful at The Artist Haven. We love all animals and have been feeding the deer that come onto the property. We also set food out for a sweet little black and white cat named Bonnie (she's a "no-touch-me kitty"). If you love animals too, would you give them the food we have supplied? If you are lucky, you may even see our "pet" groundhog, Garry.
We're slowly building our gallery of young and local artists. If a piece truly speaks to your soul, it may be for sale. Please leave your happy thoughts in our sketchbook or leave us a sketch to remember you by. Let's see your creativity shine! For our guests who enjoy cooking, the garden has many fresh herbs you can cut for use during your stay. We have parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme. We also have oregano, basil, and three types of mint.

About the host
Hosted by Janet A Krinke

Originally from New York, we moved to the Greenville, SC area in 1997, and raised our twins here. It is a beautiful area with friendly people, wonderful parks and waterways, a rich and diverse arts community, and amazing food venues. We enjoy all these things and more.
Why they chose this property
The first time we saw this property, we saw an ugly duckling that would become a swan. The neighborhood is quiet and the wooded backyard provides a peaceful backdrop. At the same time, the location is convenient to so many local amenities and entertainment venues.
