About this property
The Barnacle on Flye Point
The Barnacle, nestled on the waters of Blue Hill Bay, offers breathtaking panoramic views of Western and Cadillac Mountains and the islands surrounding Acadia National Park. From its quiet deck, you can often see seals, loons, and other sea and land wildlife, along with lobstermen plying their trade. Day trips to Deer Isle, Castine, Bar Harbor, and Acadia are just some of the places visitors enjoy exploring.
Lovingly maintained and updated, guests will find everything they need for a comfortable, hassle-free stay. The three bedrooms include a king bed with en suite, a full bed, and a bunk bed with full and twin mattresses, accommodating up to seven guests. There is a second full bathroom, as well as a full-sized washer and dryer. The kitchen is equipped with everything needed for meal preparation. A gas grill and lobster cooker are provided on the deck, along with board games and cards for special family days. For those who must connect, fiber-optic Wi-Fi and a TV for streaming apps and watching DVDs are provided.
Whether renting kayaks to paddle the shoreline, swimming off the ledges at high tide, exploring the tide pools, or using it as a base to explore Maine’s mid-coast treasures, this quiet side-road location provides guests with the solitude to make life-long memories.
