Serenity abounds!
The VRBO listing and photos do not do this property justice and I'm unsure that my words will adequately convey the sense of tranquility found at this little coastal retreat. The surroundings are pristine with water views, lush vegetation and abundant wildlife. The cabin is reminiscent of a historical coastal fishing/hunting camp with all of the important comforts of home. Air conditioning, comfortable beds, plenty of hot water, and excellent cellular service. We came to the area to fish and were not disappointed in that aspect of our visit either. Dan, the owner, is wonderful and was beyond accommodating, even allowing us to use his nearby boat ramp and dock. We didn't use them, but were also offered the use of a canoe and grill during our stay. The best part of the stay was having our morning coffee and evening nightcaps on the screened front porch. This place is not only convenient for fishing and hunting, it is a destination all on its own.
