About this property
Rustic Cabin on 10 secluded acres
Welcome to the C&L Lodge at The Back Nine Camp in beautiful, secluded Frederic, Michigan. This 12x15 one room cabin is perfect for the outdoor enthusiasts to escape from it all.
Lots to do locally with Gaylord 35 minutes away, 30 minutes to Grayling and 40 minutes to Lewiston. Golf Courses, Lakes, Trails, and Rivers galore!
If you want a local ‘watering hole’, we recommend visiting The Swamp II Bar located just down the road. Food and Beverages are delicious.
4 wheel drive recommended!
This experience is rustic with no (supplied) power, water or heat. There is an outhouse.
The cabin IS hooked up for electricity with a plug on the outside of the cabin for you to hook your OWN generator to, if desired
The space
The cabin has premium camp mattresses on two beds. A full bed and a futon bed. Bring your own bedding. It can sleep 4 people but could accommodate more upon request.
There is an ADDITIONAL cabin on the property that MUST be rented separately. If you do not, the space could possibly be shared with other guests.
Guest access
This cabin is located on 10 acres with 1 other cabin and a shared screened in Pavillion located nearby. 4wd is required to access. There is an outhouse just down the trail behind the cabins and the shared screened in pavilion. There is a charcoal grill (bring your own charcoal). There is a bonfire pit between the two cabins as well.
There are plenty of fallen trees for you to use as firewood. A phone number/address will also be provided for wood pickup or delivery if you’d prefer to take that route.
Guests also may enjoy the “LiL ATV Trail” that is cut onto the property.
There are quite a few nice trees to hang hammocks
Feel free to set up tents on the property for extra guests (free of charge)
There will be a $50 charge/per night if you want to pull campers onto the property
******DO NOT SELECT MORE THAN 4 GUESTS UNLESS YOU ARE BRINGING A CAMPER ONTO PROPERTY******
Other things to note
Please note that this cabin is located miles down a sandy two track road that we recommend 4 wheel drive for.
- No smoking (in Cabins)
- Pet friendly w/ $25 fee (+fees & taxes)** You will be responsible for any damages that may be caused by your pets. You also MUST clean up your pet’s waste and take it with you.
- Must be at least 21 years old to book
- Additional fees and taxes may apply
- NOTE: The property requires stairs to enter and access the cabins which may be difficult for guests with limited mobility
-Minimum TWO NIGHT stay
The GPS pin for the property should get you right to the driveway with the sign “The Back Nine” on the tree at the driveway. The gate is also painted yellow. We have included two pictures of the easiest ways in, one off of 612 and one off of Old 27. I do NOT recommend trying to take Wolf Road all the way in.
There is a small cleaning fee ($30) associated with the cabins as guests are expected to clean up before departing but we understand that not everyone is perfect.
Broom and dust pan provided.
You will need to take your garbage with you.
Although, you may leave cans/bottles as long as they are BAGGED or in the DESIGNATED BLACK CAN in the pavilion.
