About this property
Pelican House, Butler Beach. Close to the beach with great Ocean Views
Discover the beauty of St. Augustine from this fabulous 3-bedroom Crescent Beach house. Nestled in a serene neighborhood on a high dune, our amazing property offers magnificent ocean views, and is just three houses back from the beach. Our property features a "crow's nest" platform on the rear of the house, which is perfect for enjoying sunset views over the inter-coastal waterway.
Upon entering Pelican House, you'll find a large foyer space that has been converted to a second sitting area. Guests will find the entryway to be a relaxing spot to read, work on a laptop, or just hangout separate from the upstairs living spaces. There are 2 large downstairs bedrooms. The first bedroom features a queen sized bed, t.v., armoire, and closet. The second bedroom has two twin sized beds and a closet. A full sized bathroom with a tub/shower and linen closet is located in between the two bedrooms. The washer and dryer are also in the same hallway as the bedrooms.
As guests make their way upstairs, they'll find the second floor to be open and airy, with plenty of great natural light. The open floor plan provides a perfect space for spending time with friends and family. The living room boasts a large sectional couch with adjustable backrests so guests can customize their lounging/sitting while watching t.v. or taking a nap after a long morning in the sun and surf. The dining room table easily sits 6 people, perfect for those nights that guests prefer to cook a big meal rather than venture out to a restaurant. The kitchen has ample counter space, a pantry closet, dual sink, refrigerator and freezer with ice/water maker, dishwasher, and a stove/oven. All flatware, crockery, and cooking dishes are provided. A Keurig coffee maker, k-cups, sugar, and creamer can be located in the kitchen. For those who prefer traditional coffee, a Mr. Coffee and a French press are also available (ground coffee not provided). From the kitchen, guests will have a view of the ocean and can often see flocks of pelicans flying along the beach- lending the explanation of why we just HAD to name this The Pelican House!
The half bathroom is convenient to the living room and kitchen, so guests don't have to travel downstairs or through the master bedroom for a toilet.
The 3rd/ Master bedroom is located on the same floor as the kitchen and living room. It has a king sized bed, t.v., private porch, and ensuite bathroom. The master bathroom is spacious with a large vanity, shower, stand-alone bathtub, walk-in closet, and separate toilet room. The back porch provides a private space to sit- day or night, and overlooks the wooded back of the property. The woody area aids in reducing noise heard from A1A.
The back porch is also the only access to the crows nest.
Up on the crows nest, guests will have a 360 degree view of the area- from the intracoastal to the Atlantic Ocean. It's a great spot to watch the sunrise in the morning, sunbathe in the afternoon, and catch the sunset in the evening.
