The Alaskan Vacation Guesthouse You've Dreamed Of.

Welcome to your home away from home! This property is perfect for your Alaskan dream getaway. Nestled on 1 acre of land, this magnificent 3400sqft home is surrounded by some of the most pristine beauty that the Kenai Peninsula has to offer. Bear Creek, a beautiful salmon creek borders the back yard. Bear lake is less than a minute walk from the back door. This lake accommodates kayaks to float planes. The Guesthouse is masterfully crafted - composed of seven bedrooms and built to accommodate up to 14 guests overnight. Six bedrooms are located on the upper floor with access to respective full bathrooms. Two rooms include their own en suite bathrooms; two share a jack-and-jill style bathroom; and two share a single, separate bathroom. The bedroom on the bottom floor shares access with the full bathroom. All beds have tempur-pedic mattresses. Six rooms have queen beds, and the master suite has a beautiful king size bed.
There is access to the house laundry now, but please no fishy clothing. There is a coin operated laundry 1/4 mile away and in town if needed. The GARAGE no access due to personal storage of families property.

The kitchen is spacious and offers a large beautiful dining area comfortably seating 14. The kitchen is perfectly suited for all the needs of the guests desiring to cook or entertaining. A smoked wood pellet Tragar grill is easily accessed on the large, concrete patio located just off the dining room. Enjoy breakfast inside the 250sqft, enclosed sun room with wrap-around deck where you can bask on the deck in the endless summer sun that Alaska is renowned for. 

When you're not relaxing in the luxurious comforts of this beautiful home, get out and enjoy any of the incredible experiences Seward has to offer. These include world-class salmon and halibut fishing, fjord and glacier tours, mountain biking, hiking, zip-line tours, horseback riding, lake and sea kayaking, and the Alaskan dogsled experience. The list goes on the magnificent float plane and helicopter tours of the surrounding mountains and glaciers, Seward's famous Sea life Center, and much more. Rear Gem in Seward
**"Perfect Stay in Seward – Highly Recommend!"** We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this beautiful home in Seward! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning views, immaculate cleanliness, and cozy atmosphere. The house was spacious, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The location was perfect – close to all the main attractions, but still tucked away in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. The hosts were incredibly responsive and provided great recommendations for things to do in the area. We loved watching the wildlife from the deck and appreciated all the thoughtful touches throughout the home. This is truly a gem in Seward, and we can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a perfect getaway!

Location was great, just outside of Seward so it was easy access to our halibut charter and a glacier hike! Home was very clean!! It was also so well equipped with everything a family could need! Our kids were age ranged from 10-15 and they were never bored. Owner made the who stay easy. Would definitely stay again!!!

The ample space was well put to use for our work retreat. Being a smidge out of town encouraged our focus yet we were close enough to enjoy all the wonderful opportunities Seward offers. The home was clean, well-provisioned and comfortable. The host was wonderful to work with.

This is not a house, it is a very spacious HOME! There were 14 of us and we never felt crowded. Ona has this home ready for anything and everything from cooking to games/fishing pole for the kids, and complete relaxation. Plus she was available if we needed anything. Our family had the absolutely best time at this home!

The PERFECT House for our Family's stay in Seward!
This was such a great home for our 5 days in Seward! We were an extended family of 11-parents, adult kids & 2 grandkids that had traveled from Pennsylvania and California. The home is very large and meticulously kept with plenty of room for our entire family. Its located in a beautiful setting right next to Bear Lake with a huge backyard with 2 firepits, a creek with salmon and loads of parking out front. Close to all activities and town. Ona manages the property and was excellent with communication and you could tell she really cares about the home and making sure every detail is taken care of. Fully stocked kitchen, plenty of fresh towels, toiletries etc. We knew this was a great home but its even better in person-we LOVED it!

PERFECT get-away for our family AK staycation
This property is conveniently located minutes from Seward far exceeded our expectations for our Alaska 'staycation' family reunion of 16 (my husband and me, our 6 children, 3 in-laws, 5 grandkids). Communication with Ona before our stay was timely and very helpful for our planning. The property was immaculate and attractive. Everything we needed was on hand at the property to make our stay comfortable. It rained most days during our stay; the property has many indoor gathering spaces which provided areas for us to easily spread out to hang-out, play board games and cards, read, etc. ~ The rain didn't stop us from venturing outside to enjoy the spacious backyard to play yard games, fish in the creek that runs along the backyard, kayak in Bear Lake which is easily accessible from the property, and walk to the weir/hatchery. The property location made our trips into Seward for fishing, shopping, a visit to the SeaLife Center, Lowell Point, and Harbor Street creamery very convenient. ~ Our last evening, the rain stopped/the sun emerged; we kicked back in the Adirondack chairs around a fire in the backyard :)

This home was a big hit with our family! We explored Seward, and enjoyed this home with our family. The house is beautiful, well stocked, with a large back yard that the children were able to really enjoy. The owner is very accommodating and responds to all of your questions. Where do I even begin lol
The photos simply do not do it justice, at all. We had a wedding in Seward and my family used this cabin to house our family. It could not have been more perfect! More than enough space to not be on top of one another at all! Ona has though of every last thing a guest could ever think of needing as well. The salmon creek in the back yard kept everyone very entertained as well. It was just absolutely beyond perfect and we are so grateful she let us stay there for such a special time. Thank you so much, we will remember our time here so very fondly!

The perfect house for our family!
We were so pleased with this house! There were 9 adults staying there for a family wedding in Seward and the house was perfect. The gourmet kitchen was amazing and it was fully stocked with everything we needed. There are hiking trails around Bear Lake and it is a 10 minute drive into Seward for groceries. The closet is stocked with indoor and outdoor games and toys for children on the sun porch. The layout of the bedrooms provided plenty of space and privacy. There is spare rain gear in the entry if you need it. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place for our family!
