About this property
Some places accept dogs. At The Paw House Inn, we CATER entirely to dog lovers
At The Paw House Inn & Country Cottages we have dispelled all notions that a dog friendly hotel should be second rate. Each of our immaculate dog themed accommodations are lovingly designed for maximum privacy and, yes...human comfort too.
We are new to VRBO but have been serving our guests since 2001. Our reviews speak directly to our passion for first class service and attention to de'tail."
In addition to first class amenities such as in-room electric fireplaces, private outdoor porches, well-equipped kitchens, jacuzzi tubs, and more, for almost 25 years we have anticipated the unique needs of dog parents who love to travel in comfort with their fur babies. Each private guest accommodation has a custom built dog bed, dog towels, dog sheets, and all the comforts of home. Well behaved dogs are welcome throughout the inn, even at breakfast. During the day our devoted staff lovingly provides various "dog services." Going out for the day or night without your dogs? Mario's Playhouse is available as an alternative to leaving your dog(s) unattended in your private guest room. There is no extra charge. All of our dog services are included in the nightly rate! Day and night we do our best to ensure your comfort and peace of mind.
Situated in our beautiful backyard, our off-leash Diggins' Dog Park is about half the size of a football field and is completely fenced-in. The park is home to dog-centric activities such as picnicking, dog agility, playtime, and general romping. Guests are welcome to utilize Diggins' Park at any time, day or night.
We are situated in the Vermont's majestic, dog friendly Killington Region. Nearby there are hundreds of dog friendly activities ranging from hiking, swimming, dog friendly restaurants, wineries, breweries, maple museums, historical sites, dog friendly concerts and festivals, farmers markets, dog shops, a dog friendly bookstore, and so much more.
Prior to arrival, we require vaccination history for all doggos and also request that you complete a very fun online "dog profile form" which helps us to get to know your dog(s) prior to your visit.
Nightly rates are based upon 2 humans and 2 dogs. Additional people and dogs are welcome for a small fee.
MOST IMPORTANTLY please note that there is a $10 nightly fee added to any guest who is...gasp...dogless!

About the host
Hosted by The Paw House Inn
It all started back in 2001 when the frustration we encountered in our own travels inspired us to create a dog friendly vacation destination that is designed entirely for dog lovers. So we left our jobs in New York City, packed up our two goofy labs, disregarded everyone's warnings, and created a dream come true - a "dog centric" Vermont getaway with all of the comforts of home, including your dog.
Since 2001 we have had the privilege of sharing the joy that your dogs have brought into our lives. Dogs are members of the family and hold a special place in our lives. We invite you to become part of our family by visiting us soon.
Paws truly,
Mitch and Jen
