Loft with views in scenic rural Taos, an easy drive to your next new memories

Welcome to the Loft at Casas Indigo! You’ve found your home base for all the adventures you’ve come to experience here in one of the most beloved travel destinations in the US. Just up the spruce pole spiral stair your respite awaits.

Centrally located to the many attractions of the area, this efficient and intentionally appointed lodging is sure to provide a comfortable place to rest up and unwind between experiences. Sleep solid in the queen size bed, and open up the convertible beanbag chair into a double mattress for a second sleeping space. The floor to ceiling windows and the full-length balcony space offer a long view of the tributary Rio Ranchitos valley adjacent to the property. Laundry service is available. Reach out for recommendations for local experiences.

***Please take note: the Loft is ONLY accessible via a reclaimed spiral staircase. Any guests with balance issues or health considerations that include mobility would not find the staircase a safe option. The loft is a studio apartment that was added on to the original home. It's second-story lighting and views make it a lovely spot for reflection in the early mornings. A wrap-around balcony enhance the outdoor relaxation space.

We have labored to create a welcome and safe space that provides multiple varied housing opportunities on our property. Children from the three families living here will be seen playing outdoors along with their cats. One of the parents is also our artist in residence, and has studio space in the third garage adjacent to the covered parking. Guests who rent the Casita next door will be using the covered parking. Our family lives in the first house with the green roof. The other two families reside in their recreational vehicles in the downhill barn space.

If complete isolation and seclusion is a requisite of your vacation, ours may not be the space for you. You are welcome to enjoy the river overlook, and we ask that you please respect the privacy of the other residents on the property as you pass by to access the river.
