Just what we were looking for
2 Rainbow, Anchorage Condominiums-I don’t unusually write reviews (too lazy) but my wife and I stayed in this unit week of 3/13/2016 and were very pleasantly surprised. Much of the unit appears to be very recently renovated with new kitchen counters, cabinets, microwave etc. Kitchen was amply stocked with plates, bowls silverware, pots/pans, and utensils. Everything you could need. Refrig , Stove and micro appeared new as well. It is a 2 bedroom (1 king, 1 queen)/2 bath unit and also features a pull out couch in the living room. Rooms were all nicely appointed. Nice tile flooring throughout and big flat screen TV in the living room. Deck overlooks the tennis courts with the Caribbean visible in the not too distant view. The condominium is on the far east end of the island (near Cowpet Bay). A little tricky to find if you are not familiar with the island. Great location and about 5 minutes from Red Hook, a 3-4 block strip of restaurants, shops, bars, a grocery store and the ferry terminal to St. Johns. The condominium complex is a gated community with a pool, gym (small but amply equipped with treadmills, free weights and a universal machine) and a small beach behind the pool, all about a 2 minute walk from this unit. I would highly recommend you give this a try. You won’t be disappointed.
