Family Getaway
Wonderful weekend away. This property has something for everyone. We put our boat in at the marina directly across from us. The kids enjoyed the weekend of fishing, swimming, playing ping pong and using the sauna and hot tub. Plenty of room and veryone had a place to be.

Fall Break 2024
We stayed for several days over Fall Break. Perfect home for a family with an indoor pool and game room. We enjoyed our stay. Kitchen is in need of new pots and pans and silverware. We also pulled out several dirty dishes and pans from cupboards. The garbage didn’t get picked up from the last guest so it was over flowing by the time we added ours. We also saw several bugs in the home. And as far as location, what’s not pictured is to the right of the property on the lake is a warehouse type building and a road so the view ain’t great in that direction and it doesn’t feel as secluded as the pictures suggest, but the location was actually perfect for us. Close to grocery stores and restaurants. And overall, it’s a great property.

Great family get away!
Fishing was great. Private pool was awesome. Highlight for the females were the sauna, we created our on spa day. The host was available and responsive to any bumps we experienced. We're already talking about returning for the holidays.

The lakehouse is great for a quiet getaway not too far from the city. Really comfortable beds and enough room to stretch out give your family some space.

Great Quick Getaway
Booked this last minute and had a small emergency that required us to cut our stay short by one day. Everyone was so accommodating and kind with regards to our situation. House was wonderful and just what we needed for a quick getaway with our two teenage daughters.

Pleasant and Peaceful Stay
Due to last minute cancellation of a rental in Florida for the weekend of my son's death anniversary, I went in search of a peaceful location to spend the weekend. Thankfully this property was available. Booking was fast and painless. Check-in was easy. The house was spacious and the indoor pool was a hit with my other children. The backporch swing overlooking Lake Oconee was good for the days when I just needed quiet. The bed in the master bedroom was adjustable. That was a nice surprise as well. My favorite room out of all of it though was the sunroom with all the windows. Thanks for the opportunity to share your home!

Had a great 4 days
We were surprised by how large the house was, and enjoyed it very much. It was just the right fit for our family. We enjoyed the pool, the hot tub, and the lake. We rented a pontoon and toured the lake and even took a plunge off the jumping rock into the really nice lake waters. We want to come back for sure!

Great vacation
This is our second time in this rental. We love it. We had an issue with the dishwasher and we had to wash dishes by hand and the living room’s air conditioner wasn’t working properly though we are looking forward to come back for the third time. Thanks!

Excellent Lake House Experience
This was a great house to stay in for a few days to play on the lake. The house was true to the pictures. It's a little dated when you first enter the great room, but it's the room we spent the least amount of time in. Traveling with teenagers, they immediately gravitated to the pool. I would suggest paying the extra to get it heated because even in the heat of the summer, the water was very cool. Swimmable, but not super comfortable temperature. The pool was a great addition, and we loved the hot tub (but could not figure out how to make it hotter) and the sauna. The kitchen area was roomy and had a nice sun porch attached. We spent a lot of time here and on the very roomy deck. The pool table was a hit, and we found a great ping pong table we could also use, which was great for evening entertainment. Bedrooms were roomy and spread out, so everyone had some privacy. Great bathrooms in the house, including one off the pool so you didn't have to walk through the house. The deck was nice, and there is a great marina across the way. We rented jet skis from another place, but all very accessible to the house. A few things were off-there were a lot of people that stopped by to look at things while we were there, including the property manager. It was fine, but felt intrusive to have her and several workers come by during our time. I know they are booked through summer, but would've been nice for them to schedule when no one was staying there. The beds were comfortable and seemed new. The only down side was a deck full of goose poop that we cleaned off and a neighbor that was a little much, but otherwise it was an awesome time. The location was great, from a boat or jet ski you could be on the lake in a minute. Great deck swing and swing by the water to hang out in. The house was clean, easy to find and easy to access. Close to restaurants, well maintained and great space for the price. Would absolute recommend!

Paradise close to home
This property was perfect for our family getaway. I loved waking up and drinking my coffee while watching the birds and the fishing boats. My grandkids didn't want to leave (they absolutely loved the indoor pool)! The stay is a little bit pricey but I definitely would stay again.

Perfect Family Vacation
Everything was immaculate! Better than the pictures and definitely worth the price. We had my 9 year old and my 3 year old and it was very kid friendly and accommodating to small children. As parents that’s huge for us, especially on vacation. Property manager was very helpful and friendly. Will be returning again! Views are breathtaking and house is somewhat secluded while still close to town for any shopping or dining you want to do.

Indoor Pool is Awesome!
This unique house provided hours of endless fun for the kids on a cloudy weekend at the lake. The pool and hot tub were heated before we arrived, easy instructions and safe for the kids. Clean house, plenty of beds for a family of 6 and great communication from the property manager. Thank you!

Wonderful Getaway!
Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This vacation home was exceptionally clean and well kept! The rooms in this house are huge! We were traveling with my parents and our two adult children with their significant others, and there was enough rooms and space in this house for all 8 of us to spread out if we wanted to or to come together to hang out as a group. It was perfect! While we were here, we enjoyed fishing, swimming in the pool or soaking in the hot tub, having a glass of wine on the covered porch, watching movies in the comfy living room, sitting in the sauna, playing pool in the game room, and having meals together. I imagine coming in the warmer months would offer even more options. The kids and I took an day trip to Six Flags Over Georgia in Atlanta, but you really wouldn't even need to leave the property to enjoy a great vacation. There are grocery stores and restaurants close by for convenience. It pretty much has it all.The only thing you might want to be aware of is that there is a $50 a day charge for pool heat. This is stated in the contract when booking and is pretty standard for vacation rentals, but I didn't see it listed on the VRBO page anywhere. It was well worth it, but is an added fee that travelers might want to know when planning their travel budget. Overall, we had a great experience in this home! Highly recommended!

We traveled from NJ to GA for Thanksgiving
We wanted a place to have Thanksgiving where we could all be together, comfortable and enjoy our stay. This place exceeded expectations! The property was clean, roomy and a perfect getaway spot. It is on the lake and beautiful. There were seven of us and we had plenty of room to be together or spread out as needed. The kitchen and dining area were perfect for Thanksgiving prep and service. Bedrooms were large and comfortable. TV room was great for football and the indoor pool/ hot tub were a big hit. Overall it was a fantastic experience and the host was so accommodating. We will be back for sure. It is a wonderful property!
