The Wood View is a Secluded Dog-Friendly Home in the woods with a Game Room, WiFi, Private Hot Tub under the stars, AC & Fireplaces! Only 13 miles to Schweitzer Ski Resort and 10 minutes to downtown Sandpoint, where you can find amazing restaurants, bars and shopping.

Bring your pup and stay awhile at this cozy, secluded home tucked away on four-and-a-half wooded acres just 10 minutes from Sandpoint. Start your days with hot breakfasts prepared in your well-equipped, full kitchen with stainless steel appliances and a table for six, then settle into the adjacent living area with high ceilings, large windows, a warming gas fireplace, and a flatscreen TV. The kids can head down to the lower-level rec room where they can play foosball, darts, or just watch their own shows and movies on a second TV. This room is off a massive garage offering an indoor basketball hoop, cornhole set and space for parking boats, cars, or snowmobile trailers. Outside, there's a large furnished deck with a gas fire table and gas grill, a fire pit in the yard below (seasonal use only), and a private outdoor hot tub under the stars. There is a gorgeous variety of trees in all directions.

If you're looking to hit the slopes in winter, Schweitzer Mountain Resort, the best family-friendly resort in the Pacific Northwest, is less than 14 miles north. In warm weather, play some disc golf at the Baldwood DGC just three miles away (there is a set of discs at the house!), spend afternoons at Sandpoint City Beach Park, or bring your clubs and head over to the Idaho Club Golf Course, 13 miles from your door. When it's time to venture out, you'll find several terrific shops and restaurants close by including The Hydra Steakhouse, Second Avenue Pizza, MickDuff's Brewpub & Fiesta Bonita Mexican Restaurant. Be sure to check out Lake Pend d'Oreille in the summer!

Hello! Mike and Rebecca reside in Snohomish, WA. After traveling to Sandpoint in 2020, we loved it so much, we bought this property that we transformed into The Wood View. We enjoy visiting it ourselves and sharing it with guests.
We have 3 kids in their early 20s, and a Boxer dog named Badger.

We love the privacy in this neighborhood. Surrounded by trees and quiet, it is such a peaceful environment.
What makes this property unique
This is a unique house as it is built as a living space over a huge shop! The shop space provides so much extra room and the upper living space is just like being in the tree tops.
