Beware
So this issue is ongoing and may be amended, but my wife and I reserved this unit in order to see a concert at the Raymond James stadium, the listing stated that the stadium is a few short minutes away, this did not account for the traffic of the area, it is more like 17. At least if you’re going for an event. The exterior of the unit seems a little run down but the interior is very nice aesthetically. The parking area is cramped so if you have a large vehicle good luck. Moving on to the interior, it is exactly what advertised, a single bedroom unit, a kitchenette and a bathroom adjacent to the bedroom. Our issue was with the toilet, immediately the bathroom was backed up and full of feces, on top of that, literally there was literally a lizard swimming around in the refuse and used toilet paper. I immediately attempted to contact the unit owner, and received an automated message with nothing helpful, over the course of 7 more hours and several more messages I received zero help. At midnight, after 7 hours of having an unhygienic and unsanitary unit, I received another message. This was only after I spent fifteen minutes with a call center with VRBO. The message was nonchalant and unhelpful saying that they are sorry and will send maintenance out but not when. Keep in mind this is literally at 12:04 AM. later that morning. We were told by the owners assistant that someone will be by to fix the issue. They never did. Do not stay here. There’s more to say but I ran out of room.
