Conveniently located just 39 miles from Spokane International Airport, our home is a short drive from various attractions: 18 miles to the Northwest’s largest theme park, Silverwood; 35 miles to skiing; an 18-minute walk to hike lakeside; less than a mile stroll to downtown for shopping, dining, amazing parks, museums and nightlife; 2 miles to world-class golfing; and a mere mile bike ride to the beaches of Lake CDA.
Spanning three stories and boasting four bedrooms and two bathrooms across 3,066 square feet, our beloved home is perfect for a large family or two smaller families, offering ample space for every guest.
Main Level:
Step into a welcoming tiled mudroom leading to a living room adorned with original leaded glass windows, pristine flooring, and two cozy couches facing a large HDTV and gas fireplace — perfect for those chilly fall evenings and winter wonderland days. Sharing the open floor plan lives a French farmhouse table with enough room to seat a hungry crowd of 8. You will find a fully remodeled chef’s kitchen complete with updated cabinetry, granite countertops, new appliances, a farm sink, eclectic industrial pipe shelving, and a back door leading to the fenced-in yard. A full tiled bathroom with a large walk-in shower and plentiful cabinet space awaits. You will find two large sunlit bedrooms with ample closet space, quality queen beds, linens, and luggage racks also located on the main floor.

Guest access
The whole property (minus a few owner closets and detached garage) are for guest use. What’s mine is yours unless otherwise noted or put away. Please use what you need and leave what you don’t. If you use all of something, please kindly replace it or let us know so that we can do so.
Other things to note
This is not a party rental; it’s our family’s second home, which we happily share with those seeking cherished quality time with loved ones, making memories in the land of the free!
In winter, significant snowfall is common. Please plan accordingly, as we cannot be responsible for missed nights due to weather or travel delays. We're flexible with calendar adjustments or rescheduling if needed and available. Visit “NOAA Weather” online and search conditions for zip code 83814. This is a great relatively reliable source for weather conditions (if that even exists anymore;)).
Please also note that in winter, you will need to review I-90 and US-95 road conditions and alerts for travel restrictions, and carry chains if necessary. Pacific Northwest mountain weather can change quickly; be safe and prepared. If a storm happens when you are in-house, we will need cars moved from their spot on the street so the city can plow.
**Hot Tub & Cleaning Fee**:
We have our hot tub serviced after guests depart and right before new guest’s arrival promising that it is in top notch condition for you. This includes a hot tub clean and suction of loose particles (tree debris, dirt, etc); checking that the hot tub’s chemicals and temperature are where they need to be and topping up the water if needed. It is important to note that many hot tubs and pools are not serviced properly - we want to ensure that this is perfect even for the littlest of one’s sensitive skin.
VRBO does not have a designated hot tub fee area on the listing yet for this region. The time that is spent on the hot tub is part of the house’s general cleaning fee, hence a higher-than-average cleaning fee as we don’t have an allocated spot to put it. It’s coming but for now we have to get creative with where to collect it.
