About this property
NEW to Rental Market Aug 2024! Beautiful Waterfront Home on Pleasant Pt Harbor
Rental is weekly or multiple weeks from Saturday to Saturday.
Beautiful custom waterfront home in Cushing Maine, Wyeth Country, with your own private float, dock and mooring.
Floor to ceiling glass in all the bedrooms, the living room, and the dining room looking out over the picturesque working Maine harbor.
Quintessential Maine home with lobster boats, sailboats and pleasure boats coming and going past your waterfront deck and private dock and float.
This is the nicest house on the harbor with the best view!
20-30 minutes down a waterfront peninsula from the Mid-Coast towns of Thomaston and Rockland, 35-40 minutes from Rockport and Camden ("The prettiest little town in Maine")
The first floor bedroom has 2 new Twin XL beds that look out over the harbor and they also convert into a King-sized bed if needed. There is a small desk and chair, a rocking chair, a dresser, a mirror, and room darkening shades in this bedroom.
The second floor bedroom is the Master Bedroom with a King sized Sleigh Bed looking over the harbor and a sliding glass door leading out to your own private deck with two chairs also overlooking the harbor. There is a small desk and chair, an overstuffed chaise chair, a dresser, a mirror and shades on the sliding glass door and most of the windows (the transom window above the slider and the skylights do not have shades so this bedroom does not get completely dark)
The first floor bathroom has a deep bathtub as well as a shower and floor to ceiling windows looking out to the harbor.
The second floor bathroom has a large shower as well as an emergency exit to a 2nd staircase in case of an emergency.
The living room has a loveseat, a rocker, and a stuffed swivel rocker that faces the living room or swivels to face the floor to ceiling windows looking out over the harbor. There is also a beautiful gas fireplace in the living room with glass doors to view the fire.
The dining room has a beautiful round oak table for four, with 2 extra leaves stored under the stairs to add extra space if needed.
The deck has multiple Adirondack chairs, a grill, a dining table with umbrella and 4 chairs, a chaise lounge chair, and a bench that wraps around the entire deck that overlooks the harbor.
You have your own private dock, float and if needed a mooring or two.
All overlooking a peaceful, beautiful Maine harbor.

About the host
Hosted by The Collins Family Irrevocable Trust
I'm a Bartender, carpenter and Tiny House builder, my sister is a lawyer, and together we are your hosts. We were born and raised right here, and this was our mom's beautiful house. I helped her build in the 1990's and she would rent out in the summers. She recently passed away, and now my sister and I, when we're not enjoying the house ourselves, carry on the tradition of sharing mom's beautiful house on the harbor with you :)
Why they chose this property
Our parents moved here in the 1960's to live and raise a family on the coast of Maine. Our dad was an artist, and this area is, and always has been the most beautiful canvas you can find.
What makes this property unique
Our mom designed this house to have maximum privacy while enjoying outstanding views of the harbor. There are floor to ceiling windows in every room to enjoy the ever-changing working Maine harbor, walls of books everywhere as she was an avid reader, and speakers all throughout the house as she loved music as well. Her home is, and always has been cozy, comfortable and private. It is the nicest house on the harbor with the best view :)
