The house is perfect for couples as each bedroom has its own bathroom. One BR is on the first floor so it was accessible for my mother with limited mobility.
The house is a beautiful Victorian.
We had a wedding in Alma at Danzinger Winery with lots of family attending. Loved the vintage charm of this property. Kitchen is totally up to date while the rest of the house retains its charm. Fun surrounding area.
We had four couples in our group for the weekend. Plenty of room, didn’t feel crowded at all. The history within the walls of the house is amazing. All rooms were clean and one nice thing, every room has its own bathroom. The ladies were able to get ready for the day while the men played pool on the very nice billiard table. Would definitely stay there again should the need arise.
We have a group of five guys that have been getting together for a weekend for the last twenty some years. It was great having our own bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen space was large and very workable. I would highly recommend this place.
The house was so big! Beautiful rooms, some with jacuzzi's! Everything was neat and clean. Beds we're comfortable. We loved it and will return again someday.
We had 5 couples staying here so we rented whole house. Was absolutely perfect having your own bathroom in each room! House was well maintained and we had a blast! Enjoyed sitting out on the balcony looking at the river. Would highly recommend anyone to stay here!
It was a great place to stay! Very clean and very accommodating for our family who was in town for a wedding. We had a great time relaxing there! Beds were great! Awesome kitchen!!! Thank you so much!!!
5 friends stayed at the Tritsch house for a long weekend and had a great time. The house was exactly as described. The location was perfect for walking to town to dine and shop. It was very clean and well laid out. Spent much of our time drinking coffee in the morning and wine in the evening in the screen porch. The kitchen is awesome and there is everything there you need to cook your meals. The owner has provided every amenity you can imagine. Johnnie was very helpful and checked in with us every day to see if there was anything we needed. Having a private bath for every room was much appreciated. This house is great and we would stay here again.
We were in town for our son’s wedding weekend - we have 5 kids with 5 significant others so this home was perfect having a bathroom in every bedroom, spotless and it had all the essentials!
We gathered our family with our adult children and grandchildren at Tritsch House for a weekend. Perfect environment for eating and playing together and then having private areas to retreat and sleep. Beautiful home, great meal preparation kitchen, lovely dining space, much enjoyed pool table, and plenty of outdoor deck enjoyment area. Alma is beautiful area! We totally enjoyed our stay and we'll be back!
Great house for our group of 12. One couple stayed in an Airstream parked on the street. Johnny was very helpful and responded to our requests. Would recommend Kleenex for the bathrooms and a gas grill. The Weber grill needed major attention. Loved all the antique furniture. All beds and bedding were great.
Some rooms could have been better cleaned- dusty furniture. Bathrooms were great
This is a very charming home. The owner was very helpful. Being an older home it's a bit musty which one in our group was bothered by. We had a small family reunion (all adults) and it worked well for gathering, cooking, playing games and lounging on the 3 porches. The area had a lot going on with Alma Swiss Days and nearby Wabasha River Days. Buena Vista lookout is nearby and awesome.
This old Victorian home was great, the kitchen was very well stocked with everything you need.
The town of Alma is very low key and most shops/restaurants choose their hours and days to be open. Since we were only their 4 days, we did not get to go to all of them. The house we stayed at had a very steep driveway, lots of steps and steep roads! We met up with Dan, he did open his ice cream store so we could have some! Visisted Danzinger Vineyard which is located abou 1.5 miles from town, very fun time with wine taster gal ( can’t remember her name!). The house was good for us, 4 couples with private bath and bedroom. Lots of old interesting pieces throughout the home. Enjoyed our stay ❤️
